Netflix Trailer Removed from YouTube as Sussex’s Sneaky Shooting Inside Queen’s Home Without Permission

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been making headlines once again, this time for allegedly taking a private photographer into Buckingham Palace without first gaining permission.

This has resulted in a discussion about whether Harry and Meghan should be forced to remove the Netflix trailer from YouTube after a photo they took inside the Queen's residence was used for commercial purposes.

It's worth noting that at this time, the late II is still alive, and royal aides have confirmed that no one allowed them to take photos or videos inside the palace.

The Sussexes are accused of taking a photographer to the palace without II's permission, which has caused quite a stir.

Earlier this week, the couple released a one-minute-long clip promoting their new documentary, which includes photos and brief snippets of interviews with Harry and Meghan.

The clip features black and white images of and Kate, as well as the Sussexes' final public appearance as senior working royals.

Behind-the-scenes images taken at their wedding, on holidays, and at Frogmore Cottage, their UK residence, also appear in the short clip.

However, it's the behind-the-scenes image that was broadcast on Netflix in a trailer for the couple's new documentary that has caused the most controversy.

The image shows a series of black and white photographs taken at their Frogmore Cottage home during their 2018 wedding reception and on holidays.

The one-minute-long trailer features an image that appears to have been taken inside Buckingham Palace, showing the couple walking out of the garden entrance.

The presence of the photographer was the subject of a written Palace complaint at the time as it was noted that the couple had not asked permission to shoot inside the Queen's home.

They added that the Sussexes were not thought to have been made personally aware of the warning, however, the photographer was not asked to leave.

According to insiders, in normal circumstances, a memo would have been sent to the late Queen to seek approval amid strict protocol around filming and photography inside the palace.

The photographer appears to have been taken during March 2020 when the couple returned to the UK before stepping down from their life as working royals.

Meghan was pictured in an outfit on March 5th, 2020, leaving the Goreng Hotel in London, where she was wearing an Alex Eagle camel wrap coat and carrying a Lowell black leather bag.

According to the regulations outlined by the Royal Collection Trust, there is strictly no photography or filming allowed inside state rooms at Buckingham Palace.

Additionally, any filming or photography within the palace for commercial purposes, meaning it was producing content for a market audience with an intent of making an income, requires permission.

Harry and Meghan are said to have signed deals with Netflix worth well over $100 million, Sky News reports.

It's not the first time that filming and photography for their upcoming docu-series, which is reportedly set to be released on December 8th, has caused a stir.

During the Platinum Jubilee celebrations in June, multiple outlets reported that Netflix crew had been barred from filming the couple during official royal events.

The question now is how many more intimate photos from the couple's private life before and after they step back from their royal duties will be revealed in the docu-series.

Viewers will have to wait for Netflix to drop the six-episode series to find out.
