Prince Andrew Gifts Queen Two New Puppies During Lockdown
The Queen received two new puppies during the lockdown in February, which were actually a gift from her third child, Prince Andrew.
The reason behind the gift was quite sad, as the Queen was feeling down and alone in the castle due to Prince Philip being sick and hospitalized for four weeks, according to The Sun's report.
Initially, one of the puppies was named Charlie, but the Queen has renamed the new corgi Mick, and her dashhound corgi cross Fergus.
She has been going on daily walks with them around Frogmore House on her Windsor estate and was even pictured several times taking them for a stroll in the days before and after the funeral service of her husband Prince Philip.
According to The Sun's report, Andrew decided to surprise his mother with the puppies while she was feeling down in Windsor Castle.
The arrival of her new pooches sparked surprise among Royal Watchers as the Queen had openly said she didn't want to take on more pets in her older years.

A source told The Sun that the Queen did not plan on getting any new dogs as she feared she was getting too old.
But it was Andrew who surprised his mum with two new puppies when she felt down and alone in the castle after the Duke was taken to the hospital.
Prince Philip spent a month at two different London hospitals from mid-February to mid-March.
He sadly passed away aged 99 on Friday 9th April, and his funeral ceremony was held eight days later on 17th April at St George's Chapel in Windsor, where the Duke of York was seen sitting next to his mother, the Queen.
On April 11th, two days after the passing of his father, the Duke, who lives near Windsor Castle, spoke to the press outside the Royal Chapel of All Saints at the Royal Lodge in Windsor.
Although he did not mention the puppies, the Duke revealed what he and the rest of the family did to support his grieving mother at the loss of Prince Philip.
He said, “I feel very sorry and supportive of my mother, who's feeling it, I think probably more than anyone else.
The Queen, as you'd expect, is an incredibly stoic person.
She described his passing as a miracle.
She's contemplating, I think is the way that I would put it.
