Prince Harry Makes Efforts to Bring Family Back to UK for Platinum Jubilee Celebration
Prince Harry, who moved to the United States with his wife Meghan Markle and their son two years ago, is reportedly making an effort to bring his family back to the UK.
Despite the strained relationship between the Sussexes and the rest of the royal family during their time in the US, Harry is said to be keen to be closer to his family and has even personally contacted his father, Prince Charles, for a friendly chat ahead of the big reunion at the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebration this summer.
The father-son relationship is starting to thaw as Prince Harry tries to make amends ahead of returning to the UK for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
Just months after the claim, Prince Charles and Prince Harry's relationship was at an all-time low.
Following news, Harry was furious about his father's involvement in curbing his military career and the comments he made about their relationship on a podcast.
The pair are said to be trying to get back on good terms.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's diaries are free this summer, and they're expected to return for Prince Philip's memorial service, as well as the extended celebrations put on for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
However, Harry fears he's not safe in the UK after Metropolitan Police refused to provide protection for his family on their return.
Harry has even filed a claim for a judicial review against a Home Office decision not to allow him to personally pay for police protection for himself and his family after being worried over safety while in the UK.
The Duke of Sussex wants to bring Meghan Markle, his son Archie, and baby daughter Lilibet to visit from the US.
But his family is unable to return to his home because it's too dangerous, a legal representative said.
Despite the row over security, which could put the couple's plans in jeopardy, the father and son duo are said to be in contact after Prince Harry reached out.
An insider told The Sun, “There's been a definite thaw in relations between Harry and Charles.
They're on much better terms and have been having friendly chats and video calls.”
It has been suggested to Harry he may live to regret any lingering family bitterness, and he has taken that on board.
Despite all the drama since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down as senior royals, relocated to Santa Monica and spoke out against the royal family in a tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey, it seems there could be hope for a reconciliation.
There is a feeling he is coming back more into the fold and wants to be closer to his family, the source added.
A former royal protection officer suggested that the Duke is eager to give his seven-month-old daughter Lilibet a royal christening.
Ken Wharfe, former royal protection officer who used to guard Princess Diana, Prince William and Harry as children, said the recent legal battle over his protection row suggested that the Duke of Sussex is desperate to return to the country.
He told the Daily Mail, Daily Editor Richard Eden on Palace Confidential that it is possible royal fans will see Harry return this year.
“The fact that he has gone down this legal route to try and secure protection suggests that he is desperate and there is a real reason for him to come to the UK,” he said.
“He has two great-grandchildren that the Queen hasn't effectively seen yet.
The very fact he has made this noise with the British government to secure protection suggests to me that he is going to make a real effort to come back here.
I think we will see him return this year, for the Platinum Jubilee.”
Richard said Harry's possible return could also mean baby Lilibet getting a royal christening, just like her big brother Archie.
“What is very interesting is that the legal letter talked about his children.
Harry was worried that there wouldn't be protection for his children, which makes me think he might come back on his own because he may not be given the protection he needs for his children.
Baby Lilibet is seven months old now and she hasn't been christened yet.
Royal babies would normally be christened within three months, but from what I've heard, Harry has made it clear he wants a royal christening for her, the same as Archie had.”
In conclusion, Prince Harry is making efforts to reconcile with his family and bring them back to the UK for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebration.
