Prince Harry Mocked by Australian TV Host on Live Show

has been the subject of ridicule yet again, this time by Australian Today host Karl Stefanovic.

While introducing the show's next guest, Global Citizen founder Hugh Evans, co-host Alison Langdon mentioned that he had worked with .

Stefanovic interrupted her with a pained look on his face, saying “Prince Harry?”

before bursting into laughter.

Langdon responded by saying, “Well, once upon a time, you would have liked Prince Harry on speed dial.”

Stefanovic then made another eye comment before composing himself and admitting, “Yes, I know, I know.

I love him.”

This is not the first time Stefanovic has made harsh comments about Prince Harry.

Last month, he took a savage dig at the Duke of Sussex while discussing his plans to write an explosive Megxit memoir, which will hit shelves next year.

Stefanovic asked if it was really going to be Harry's story or 's, implying that Harry was writing the memoir at the request of his wife.

However, LA correspondent Sam Rubin refuted this suggestion, saying it's more likely Meghan will want to write a multi-million dollar book of her own.

Royal expert Duncan Larcombe has also broken his silence on Harry's memoir.

Describing the pending publication as like a sword of Damocles hanging over the royals, he said, “We mentioned the Queen's Platinum Jubilee and we don't know if it is going to be time to come out on the day that the nation is supposed to be paying tribute to the Queen.”

He added, “I always laugh, if is helping with the book, let's just hope for her sake that does not mean that she too does not have to live in exile when the rest of the royal family are all offended.”

Larcombe also spoke about , pointing out that the Duke's circumstances are exceptional.

“Since he was a child, he has been surrounded every day by royal protection officers, and when he went to the Pizza Express in Woking, rather than meet Miss Roberts, he would have been driven around, he would have been taken there, it would have been logged.

We will have an entourage of alibis or an entourage of witnesses depending on how it unfolds.”

The situation with is causing massive embarrassment to the monarchy, and the reputational damage to the royal family has already been done.

Members of the royal family will also have to prepare themselves for series 5 of Netflix drama The Crown, which has started filming and will dramatize a notoriously difficult period of time in their recent history.

It will cover the Queen's “Annus Horribilis,” a Latin phrase meaning “horrible year” which she used in 1992 to describe the collapse of three of her children's marriages, including to , and the fire that severely damaged her Windsor Castle home.

Prince Harry has been a controversial figure since stepping down as a senior royal and moving to California with his wife and children.

His upcoming memoir is expected to be critical of the royal family, and many are wondering how it will be received by the public.

Stefanovic's comments are just the latest in a long line of criticisms aimed at the Duke of Sussex, and it remains to be seen how he will respond to them.
