Prince Harry’s Biggest Mistake: Leaving the Royal Life Behind
Prince Harry has made a life-changing decision by stepping down from his royal duties and moving to Canada with his wife, Meghan Markle.
However, according to Peter Lucas of Bastanherald.com, this could be the biggest mistake of his life.
Harry has given up the best job he will ever have as the Duke of Sussex and will now be known as the Brit who married American Hollywood star, Meghan Markle.
Unfortunately, there are very few job openings for ex-princes, especially ones who have no profession other than being a prince.
The decision to allow Harry and Meghan to be part-time royals, live in Canada, and seek financial independence is a temporary fix as the pair transitions out of the United Kingdom.
However, there will be problems, beginning with money, especially if the now semi-royal pair is dumped from the royal dole and no longer supported by British taxpayers.

If anyone in this marriage is going to make any money as Harry and Meghan seek financial independence from the English monarchy, it is going to be her, not him.
Harry, who has no profession other than being a prince, is a stepping stone to her stardom.
Meghan Markle may not have been much of an actress before meeting Harry, but she deserves an Oscar for her performance in shaking up Queen Elizabeth II in the British monarchy.
She will no doubt play herself when they make the movie.
You've got to sympathize with the Queen.
Here she is, a 93-year-old woman who in her teens watched German planes set London ablaze during the Blitz in World War II.
She became Queen in 1952, when John F. Kennedy was first elected to the U.S. Senate and Jan. Dwight D. Eisenhower was elected president.
Always putting duty and the welfare of her country first, she now, in this woke era, must deal with her second grandson abandoning his country and duty for a woman who would rather live elsewhere.
This comes after news of the scandal about Prince Andrew, her second son, cavorting with the late s**ual predator Jeffrey Epstein.
Rather than go out with a bang, Harry is leaving a whimper.
He is following Meghan to Canada as though he were part of her American financial entourage — agent, lawyer, business manager, publicist, and husband.
Getting a job for an unemployed prince will not be easy, mainly because, outside of the military, an English prince is not trained for much.
But they look good, especially in their spiffy formal military uniforms.
Harry, to his credit, did serve as an officer with British forces in Afghanistan, and the men he served with spoke highly of him.
Generations ago, when the great powers in Europe still ruled the world, it was much easier to get a suitable position for an unemployed royal of which, at the time, there were many.
Prince William of Wyde, for instance, a German aristocrat, was chosen by the great powers to be king of Albania in 1914, when the warring factions in the country could not agree on a ruler.
The European countries that made up the great powers decided to give them one.
So they gave the throne to William, who arrived in Albania in 1914 with a mandate to bring law and order to the country.
William lasted six months.
Faced with growing factionalism, tribal warfare, and mounting nationalism, William bolted.
He abandoned Albania to join the German army at the outbreak of World War One after apparently deciding that it was less stressful to fight the Russians than to deal with quarreling Albanians.
Those days are gone.
Speaking of stress, though, it appears that Harry's semi-break with Queen Elizabeth and the monarchy is an attempt to lead a less stressful life with Meghan in Canada and Hollywood.
Good luck with that.
One thing is clear, though, and that is that he and Meghan could have used a better exit strategy rather than to blindside the Queen with an internet message regarding their breakaway plans.
Following the summit at Queen Elizabeth's Sandringham estate, which Meghan did not attend, Prince Harry could have said that instead of leaving for Canada, he was going to Australia to help fight the fires that have ravaged the county.
Australia, like Canada, is part of England's Commonwealth of Nations.
Scores of people have been killed from the fires, along with millions of animals.
But it may have been too much for Harry.
Heavy is the head that wears the crown.
In the end, Prince Harry's decision to leave his royal duties behind and move to Canada with his wife, Meghan Markle, may be the biggest mistake of his life.
