Prince Harry’s Comments About Parenting Skills of Prince Charles Sparks Controversy

' parenting skills have come under scrutiny once again after his youngest son, , suggested that he did not want his children to go through the same suffering he experienced as a child.

Royal commentator Roya Nicker expressed her surprise at the comments made by , stating that would be bewildered by them as he had done his best to raise both him and his brother, .

Ms Nicker, speaking on the Today programme, said, “For better or worse, the people who know Prince Charles, and Prince Harry and , will agree he did his best as a single parent for a lot of the boys' childhood.

And I think people will be bemused because we've seen insights, quite recently, from the Royal family of the warmth of that relationship.”

Ms Nicker also noted that the public had been given several glimpses into Prince Charles' warm relationship with his youngest son, citing the image of the Prince of Wales walking Meghan down the aisle at her wedding when her own father could not attend.

However, this is not the first time that Prince Charles' parenting has been called into question.

During his joint chat with and wife in March, Prince Harry claimed that Charles had stopped taking his calls following their decision to quit and had cut him off financially.

Appearing on Dax Shepard's Spotify podcast Armchair Expert, Prince Harry also put into question the upbringing he received from Prince Charles as a child, suggesting that the pain he experienced was the result of his father's own struggles with the Queen and Prince Philip.

The Duke of Sussex said, “Isn't life about breaking the cycle?

There's no blame.

I don't think anyone should be pointing the finger and blaming anyone.

Certainly, when it comes to parenting, if I've experienced some form of pain and suffering because of the pain and suffering that perhaps my father or parents suffered, I'm gonna make sure I break that cycle so that I don't pass it on.”

It is worth noting, however, that Prince Harry had previously defended his father's work as a single parent following the tragic death of when he was only 12.

In a special program marking the 20th anniversary of the Princess of Wales accident in 2017, the Duke said, “He was there for us.

One of the hardest things for a parent to have to do is to tell your children that your other parent has died.”

The comments made by Prince Harry have once again sparked controversy and raised questions about the parenting skills of Prince Charles.

Ms Nicker suggested that the recent comments by Prince Harry would leave Prince Charles extremely bewildered, especially coming so soon after the Oprah interview.
