Prince Harry’s Upcoming Memoir Draws Criticism from Royal Family and Interviewer Michael Parkinson
Legendary interviewer Michael Parkinson has commented on Prince Harry's upcoming memoir and given a subtle dig towards the former royal.
His new book Spare is due to be released in January, and Parkinson had a lot to say about the matter.
In an interview with the Telegraph, Parkinson said, “Oh, we await that Pulitzer Prize winning stuff I'm sure.
I do think he would have made for an interesting interview if he'd told the truth.
The entire family an explained myth, aren't they really?”
Parkinson has had experience interviewing the royal family and has previously spoken to Harry's grandfather Prince Philip.

The legendary interviewer has admitted that Philip was his most daunting guest and even said that he thought the royal took a disliking to him while they were talking.
He spoke to the Telegraph about the experience and confessed that their conversation was not a success.
Parkinson explained, “I never felt quite comfortable with Philip.
I suspected that he didn't like me very much.
I did have to chat to him once for a charity, and it wasn't successful.”
However, Michael had another chance to speak to royalty as he interviewed Princess Anne in 1980 after she was involved in a kidnap attempt.
She's formidable.
You don't go mucking around with her, he told the publication.
As per a royal expert, Prince Harry may not enjoy his life in the US with his wife Meghan Markle as much as their fans might believe.
Prince William deeply cares about his brother Prince Harry, even though the latter stepped down from royal duties in 2020.
Royal expert Simon Heffer claimed that Prince William is frustrated by the fact that Prince Harry is set to release his memoir and is shocked by the decision.
The royal expert claimed that Prince Harry will not enjoy living in exile in America for very much longer, stressing that Prince William may not accept a reconciliation with Prince Harry should the latter decide to return to the UK.
“The Prince of Wales is reported to be appalled by his brother's general behaviour and that the book is going to appear at all,” Simon Heffer said.
Simon Heffer also said that Prince Harry's upcoming book is a great concern for the royal family, and Prince William is worried about the impact of his brother's memoir, as 2022 has been challenging enough for the royal family.
Meanwhile, historian and royal commentator Dr Tessa Dunlop believes King Charles and Prince William have been tipped to adopt the mantra embraced by the late Queen Elizabeth to deal with Prince Harry's upcoming memoir.
She said, “There's been a lot of stress and anxiety around this book coming out by Harry.
I kind of think he and Meghan are a sideshow.
We know they're in pain, we know that recollections may vary, but I think the monarchy is broad-shouldered enough to just suck it up.
And I think Charles and William will do just that.
The never explain and never complain motto.”
Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle have been criticised for their actions since leaving the castle via Megxit.
Much of the blowback is of their own making, for example timing his grandfather's deathbed moments to diss the monarchy to Oprah Winfrey.
As one royal expert claims, they've been pretty much trying to get everything their own way since the very beginning.
The Duke and Duchess of Excess have pointedly criticised the royal family on numerous occasions since their brash 2020 exit.
Now one royal watcher is dismayed that even after getting what they wanted, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have continued to trash the royal family.
According to Russell Myers, they wanted to leave the royal family, they've earned a huge amount of money, I mean hundreds of millions of dollars in the process, and yet they've just been trashing the royal family.
