“Prince William and Kate Middleton’s Family Christmas Card Revealed”
As the Royal Family prepares for their first Christmas without Queen Elizabeth II, Kensington Palace released a stunning photograph of the young family of the Prince and Princess of Wales.
The gorgeous family snap was taken in private on the Royal Sandringham Estate in Norfolk earlier this year and will serve as their first Christmas card photo.
The photo was shot by one of their favourite and trusted photographers, Matt Porteous.
The family is pictured walking hand in hand through the countryside in the summertime, looking to have a rather sunny Christmas while Britain freezes this winter.
William is holding the hand of his nine-year-old eldest son George, while casually attired in jeans, shoes and an open-neck shirt.
Like his younger brother Louis, George is dressed in shorts, a polo shirt and trainers.
Trending:
Cheeky Louis has the same slightly sly look and dark, dishevelled hair as the hero of his great, platinum grandmother's jubilee celebrations back in June.
Princess Charlotte, aged seven, stands in between them wearing a sweet blue denim play suit adorned with red and blue pom-poms and a pair of blue laceless canvas shoes.
The Princess of Wales is elegantly casual in ankle grazer jeans and a favourite white broiderie anglaise shirt.
The photo will feature on the front of hundreds of Christmas cards sent to family, friends, charities and organisations William and Catherine are associated with.
As part of the family's significant move to the country, the three kids started their new school in Berkshire together this year, which resulted in an additional photo call.
Otherwise, their formal appearances are more of a novelty than a frequent occurrence.
They typically carry on with their daily activities unaffected by photographs or the media, who respect their off-duty privacy and the kids' freedom to attend school in secrecy.
After the photo was released, the response from fans was ecstatic, with many describing it as stunning and beautiful.
Twitter user Lady Ingrid wrote, “Stunning family card as we love and respect you, stay strong, focus on your duties, you represent perfectly the institution, always with heads held high.
We are impatient to see your next projects and causes in 2023.
Still be seen, you've got our back.”
Another user, Toria H, said, “It's Will and Catherine being in step sync with each other and the kids being so with each other.
Also, my god, those kids just grow every time.”
The Wales' 2022 Christmas card photo was released amid news that their three children are set to be involved in a special set of Christmas celebrations at their new school, Lambrook School, an independent preparatory school in Berkshire, who welcomed the young members of the royal family at the start of this academic year.
According to the school's website, the trio's first festive period at Lambrook will see George, Charlotte and Louis immerse themselves with all the other pupils.
Lambrook's website revealed Christmas festivities and opportunities make it even more special for our pupils, with every single child performing in a Christmas event, including Chris Tingles Nativities, pre-prep house singing competitions and, of course, our end of term carol service.
Year four students delivered their beautiful Chris Tingle service by candlelight last week.
A teacher said it is always such a special service, one of the highlights of year four.
The service displayed the many talents of the pupils, with wonderful soloists and carols that were arranged and sung in two-part harmony.
Princess Charlotte Seven will be in year four next year.
While attending Thomas Battersea in London, Prince George, now age nine, played a surprising role in the school's nativity.
Prince William said in 2017, “I went to my boy's nativity play.
It was funny.
He was a sheep.”
Prince William revealed even more details about the Royal family's festive traditions last year.
He said, “For me, generally, bringing the family together at Christmas time is always lovely because we're quite spread out doing our things a lot of the time throughout the year.
We get very few moments to actually come together.
When I see my children meet up with my cousin's children and they all have a wonderful time playing together, it's very special.
I look forward to seeing that a lot.
Obviously, Christmas is a new dynamic when you have children.
Suddenly, it's a whole different ballgame of noise and excitement.”
In conclusion, the Prince and Princess of Wales' family Christmas card is a beautiful representation of their close-knit family and their love for each other.
As they prepare to celebrate Christmas without Queen Elizabeth II, the family will be spending the festive period at their new school in Berkshire, where they will be participating in various Christmas events.
It is clear that the family values their privacy, and this photo serves as a rare glimpse into their lives.
Fans are eagerly anticipating the family's next projects and causes in 2023, and they will undoubtedly continue to support them as they represent the institution with heads held high.
