Prince William Launches New Mental Health Initiative for Workplace Well-being
Prince William has announced the launch of a new mental health initiative, aimed at improving workplace well-being and providing employers with tools to support staff with mental health problems.
The Mental Health at Work project will be a website that offers resources, training, and information for managers, particularly those from small to medium-sized companies who struggle to find help.
As part of the Royal Foundation's Heads Together campaign, the Duke of Cambridge will launch the project alongside the mental health charity Mind.
The initiative will be kick-started with a visit to the networking hub Engine Shed in Bristol, where William will also attend workshops demonstrating the website and meet people trying out the system.
The launch coincides with the release of a major study by Mind into workplace well-being.
The survey found that almost half of the 44,000 workers questioned had experienced poor mental health in their current job.

Shockingly, only half of those affected had talked to their employer about their issues, suggesting that as many as one in four UK workers are struggling in silence with problems such as anxiety, low mood, and stress.
Heads Together was launched in May 2016 by Prince Harry and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and is now also joined by the Duchess of Sussex, with the aim of raising awareness and reducing the stigma around mental health issues.
The royal family has been open about their own struggles in a bid to encourage others to talk about their own mental health.
During a speech at the Workplace Wellbeing Conference in March, Prince William discussed the importance of mental health in the workplace.
He acknowledged that while work can provide a great sense of fulfillment, it can also be a significant source of stress that negatively impacts our mental health.
