Prince William’s Chivalrous Act of Love for Catherine, the Princess of Wales
Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, has once again shown the world his true colours as a perfect gentleman.
In a heart-melting video clip that has gone viral, Prince William can be seen holding an umbrella down over his wife's head to shield her from the rain.
The incident happened at the end of last year's Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey, as the couple were exiting the church to greet officials and some children gathered outside.
Despite the slight drizzle, Prince William wanted to ensure that his beloved wife did not get caught in the rain.
This small act of gallantry did not go unnoticed, as royal fans around the world were delighted to see the chivalrous nature of Prince William.
It made evident the fact that William truly cares for Catherine and his respect and affection for her was completely visible in this small gesture.

In the unearthed video, Catherine was handed an umbrella to hold because of the rainy conditions, but the Princess of Wales declined the offer as she continued to speak with the children.
Prince William intervened and snatched the rejected umbrella himself to hold over Catherine, in a move that royal fans described as protective after he saw one of the assistants leave with it.
Catherine can be seen turning when the Prince of Wales approaches his wife after spotting the umbrella's shadow, and thanking him for his kindness.
The two may be seen speaking briefly before continuing to walk out from the Abbey's gates towards their waiting automobile.
Numerous royal fans took to social media to share their joy at the Prince of Wales' tender actions expressing his love for Catherine.
One user, Firefly Sonata, commented, “Now this is a real gentleman.
This man loves his wife.”
Another user, Jen Carson Taylor, said, “He always is so aware and protective of his family.”
And Honest Girl 76 wrote, “This makes me smile.
Small thoughtful gestures are the building blocks of a deeply loving, stable relationship.”
On TikTok, where the clip was also extensively shared, fans of the royal added their praise for the couple.
User Odessa Guzman said, “They love each other.

To follow royal protocol, Prince William and Catherine have always displayed their love for one another in a rather understated manner when in public.
The Prince and Princess of Wales have, however, revealed more and more of their synchronicity over time and given hints as to their close bond.
The couple's harmony was observed by body language specialist Blanca Cobb on their trip to Boston for the Earthshot Prize ceremony the previous year.
Cobb said, “William and Catherine are very royal-esque, and I do believe that they love each other.
They're crazy about each other.
They just demonstrate it in public in a very different way.
They have a different protocol for PDA, as do Harry and Meghan.
They will still touch one another on occasions.
They will still look into each other's eyes, and they will smile.
That synchronicity or the degree of the smile lets us know that they're still very much connected to one another.
