Princess Charlotte is a Budding Star in Football, According to Prince William
Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, recently met with England's women's football team on Wednesday, June 15.
During his visit to their training centre at St George's Park, he provided royal supporters with some insights into his family's interests and pastimes.
In particular, he referred to his daughter Charlotte, who is seven years old, as a budding star in football.
As the president of the Football Association, William was gifted personalised football shirts for his three kids, Prince George VIII, Princess Charlotte VII, and four-year-old Prince Louis.
Dressed down for the event in a suit and blazer with an open-collared blue shirt instead of his normal buttoned-up shirt and tie, he passed on a message to the team from Princess Charlotte herself.
“‘Charlotte wants me to tell you she's really good in goal,' the doting dad said.

“‘A budding star for the future,' William further quipped.
The Duke continued to joke about how it appeared as though the three of them had been signed to the team while posing for photographs holding up the kids' new shirts.
He also shared with Captain Lee Williamson that George is a member of a local team and added, “‘He gets very competitive.'”
It is believed that Prince George is a huge football enthusiast and that he begged his father to take him to an England World Cup game during the previous summer.
Royal expert Duncan Larcombe told us at the time, “‘Prince William is George's absolute hero.
He thinks his dad's the most perfect person on the planet.”
William's visit to the England women's football team provided an opportunity to showcase his family's love for the sport.
He noted that Princess Charlotte, like the players, is passionate about the beautiful game.
This is not surprising given that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have previously expressed their love for football and have been spotted attending matches together.
The visit was also an opportunity for the Duke to support women's football and highlight the importance of promoting gender equality in sports.
As the president of the Football Association, he has been a vocal advocate for increasing opportunities for women in football and has worked to promote diversity and inclusion in the sport.
Prince William's visit to the England women's football team was a great success, and his comments about Princess Charlotte's budding talent in football have generated much excitement among royal supporters.
It is clear that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are committed to promoting healthy and active lifestyles for their children and encouraging them to pursue their interests and passions.
