Princess Eugenie Celebrates First Mother’s Day with Adorable Snap of Newborn Son
Princess Eugenie, the Queen's granddaughter, celebrated Mothering Sunday, also known as Mother's Day in the UK, by sharing an adorable photo of her newborn son, August Philip Hawke.
The holiday fell on March 14th this year, and it was Eugenie's first-ever Mother's Day.
The Princess posted a picture of August lying on a blanket in a field of daffodils, wearing a white bonnet and a matching knitted white cardigan with whale-printed pants.
His tiny face was turned away from the camera.
Eugenie expressed her excitement about being August's mother in the post and added that she was enjoying her first Mother's Day.
She also paid tribute to her mother, Sarah Ferguson, by sharing a throwback snap of Fergie holding her as a baby back in 1990.

In addition to the touching tributes, Eugenie wrote, “Happy Mother's Day to all,” alongside the pictures.
Fergie, Eugenie's mother, also took to social media to celebrate the occasion.
She shared a collage of photos of her late mother and wrote in the caption, “To my mum, you are with me every day, and you will be so proud of your great-grandson August.
Thank you for all you taught me and the joy you showed me.”
August Philip Hawke Brooksbank was born on February 9th at the Portland Hospital in London.
However, his name wasn't confirmed by his parents until the 11th day after his birth.
Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, shared some gorgeous images with their newborn on social media on the day, taken by their wonderful midwife.
The name August pays homage to Queen Victoria's husband, Prince Albert, whose full name was Francis Albert Augustus Charles Emmanuel.
Meanwhile, August's middle names, Philip and Hawke, are tributes to his great-grandfather, the Duke of Edinburgh, and Jack's great-great-great-great-great-grandfather, Reverend Edward Hawke Brooksbank.
August is the ninth great-grandchild for Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip and the first grandchild for Eugenie's parents, Prince Andrew and the Duchess of York.
Currently, Eugenie and Jack are living at Frogmore Cottage, a Grade II listed property close to the princess's childhood home, Royal Lodge, where her parents still reside.
