Princess Eugenie Shares First Photos of Son August Taking His First Steps
Princess Eugenie, the Queen's granddaughter, has shared the first photos of her one-year-old son, August Philip Hawke Brooksbank, taking his first steps.
The princess took to Instagram on Monday night to post two adorable pictures of her son, capturing what appears to be some of his first solo steps.
In the first photo, Princess Eugenie can be seen smiling with her mouth agape in front of a large row of daffodils as she encourages her toddler to walk towards her.
August is seen waddling on the grass with his arms outstretched, with his mum crouched in front ready to catch him and Jack Brooksbank stood behind him.
The second photo shows August walking by himself through the daffodils towards a tree in the same outfit.
Eugenie didn't caption any of the photos, but she did add, “A happy Easter” gif and another of a bunny surrounded by Easter eggs.

It comes after she celebrated her 32nd birthday last month with her family.
She also shared a photo on Instagram with the caption, “What a birthday to celebrate in the park with my boys.
Thank you.
Kiss, kiss.”
Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank welcomed their son on February 9th, 2021.
In February this year, they celebrated the first birthday of August, in which another Instagram post was made to mark the special occasion.
The caption read, “Happy first birthday to our little hero Augie.
You are such a special soul that brightens every room with your smile and wave.
You have made us very proud.
We love you.”
On Sunday, Eugenie attended the Easter church service at St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle with other members of the Royal Family as part of the Easter celebrations.
The princess left her husband and son at home and walked with Peter Phillips, her cousin, and his two daughters Savannah and Isla.
Royal fans took to social media to praise her bold outfit she wore for the occasion, as she opted for patterns over block colour like the Duchess of Cambridge.
The princess wore a calf-length Peter Pilotto dress with n^de heels, an Emily London headpiece and a n^de clutch bag.
One fan said, “Princess Eugenie looked beautiful,” with another complimenting her outfit saying, “love her dress.”
Eugenie's grandmother, the Queen, opted out of attending the annual service due to her mobility issues but paid tribute to the day in private.
Prince Charles and Camilla, who had attended the Maundy Thursday service in lieu of the Queen and Princess Eugenie's sister, Princess Beatrice, were among those who were not present.
Fans of the royal family were thrilled to see the first photos of August taking his first steps.
Many took to social media to express their excitement and admiration for the little prince.
The photos also gave fans a glimpse into the life of Princess Eugenie and her family, who have largely remained out of the public eye since the birth of August.
