Princess Eugenie’s Wedding: Who Will Foot the Bill?
The second royal wedding of 2018 is set to take place on Friday, October 12th at St. George's Chapel, Windsor Castle.
Princess Eugenie of York and Jack Brooksbank got engaged in Nicaragua in January, and now they are preparing to tie the knot.
The wedding will follow closely after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's nuptials on May 19th.
Princess Eugenie's parents, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, expressed their delight at the news.
However, there is one question that remains unanswered – who will be paying for the wedding?
According to Kensington Palace, the wedding will be paid for privately, except for the security provisions.

In a statement, the press office confirmed that the royal family will pay for the core aspects of the wedding, such as the church service, associated music, flowers, decorations, and the reception afterwards.
This is similar to how Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding was funded.
However, the taxpayer will foot the bill for security, which is estimated to have cost over £30 million for Prince Harry's wedding.
While it is likely that the royal family will contribute to Princess Eugenie's wedding, there is no indication that the Queen will pay for the entire event.
The Duke of York and his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, are expected to share the cost with the Brooksbank family.
As Princess Eugenie is not considered a senior royal, the security costs are not expected to be as steep as those for Prince Harry's wedding.
The final cost will depend on how grand the couple wants the event to be.
When it comes to the size of the wedding, Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank will be tying the knot at the same venue as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
This means that they could potentially invite up to 800 guests.
However, if the couple wants to keep the event more low-key, they could invite fewer guests.
Princess Eugenie's cousin, Peter Phillips, got married at St George's Chapel in 2008 and only had one reception at nearby Frogmore House.
Despite not being as high-profile as Prince Harry's wedding, Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank could still opt for a carriage ride after the ceremony, which Peter also did.
