Royal Family Nicknames: Prince Harry’s “Cath” for Kate and Other Adorable Monikers
The British royal family is known for its traditions and customs, but one thing that draws them closer to the public is their adorable nicknames.
Prince Harry, Meghan Markle's husband, calls his sister-in-law Kate Middleton “Cath,” which derives from her full name, Catherine.
The Duchess of Cambridge reportedly said in response to the nickname, “I'm not sure, I'm not that familiar with it.
But I will answer to most things.”
Prince Harry and Kate are known to be very close to each other.
He reportedly asked for her approval before marrying Meghan, and now the Duchess of Cambridge is reportedly getting much closer to Meghan in an effort to take the American-born duchess under her wing.

Prince William, on the other hand, has a nickname assigned to him by his late mother, Princess Diana.
In a 2007 interview, he revealed that Diana used to call him “Wombat.”
He said, “It began when I was two, I've been rightfully told because I can't remember back that far, but when we went to Australia with our parents and the wombat, you know, that's the local animal, so I just basically got called that.
Not because I look like a wombat, or maybe I do, nowadays though.”
Prince William is also known to his close friends as “Wills,” while his wife, Kate, has another adorable nickname, “Squeak.”
The moniker was inspired by her precious pet guinea pig of the same name.
During a visit to her old school, St. Andrew's School in Berkshire, she said, “I was nicknamed Squeak just like my guinea pig.
There was one called Pip and one called Squeak because my sister was called Pip and I was Squeak.”
Prince Harry also has a nickname for his wife, Meghan Markle.
He calls her “Meg,” and the Duchess of Sussex and her friends reportedly refer to the prince as “Haz.”
Meanwhile, Prince William calls his wife the Duchess of Cambridge “Babe.”
