How Meghan Markle was SILENCED by the Royal Family
The Duchess of Sussex has claimed that she was silenced by The Royal Family after her marriage to Prince Harry.
Meghan says that the Royal Household instructed her not to comment on any situation.
Meghan said in her much awaited CBS interview with Oprah Winfrey, “I have always worked and I have always valued independence.”
“I have advocated for so long for women to use their voice, and then I was silent.”
Oprah wondered whether she was silent or whether she had been silenced.
“The latter,” Meghan answered.

“Everyone in my life was told not to say anything, and we obeyed.”
Meghan was advised that any reporting about her should be met with “no comment” from her family and friends, and that she should do the same. She believed she was being directed in the right direction for her own protection, but she soon realized she wasn't the one being aided. She said, “TThey were willing to lie to protect other members of the family.” “However, they weren't willing to tell the truth to protect me and my husband.”
“What kind of protection did you want that you feel like you didn't receive?” Oprah wondered. Meghan said she saw The Firm debunk rumors about other royals while fanning the flames of the malicious press directed at her. They even declined to grant Archie a title or the protection that comes with it before he was born, according to Meghan. She learned about the decision from Harry and other family members, and she wouldn't be able to influence it.
