Even then, there were a few prominent people that were left off the list. Many of the celebrities who did not attend, including a long-time royal acquaintance, are listed below.

Angelina Jolie

Angelina Jolie was scheduled to attend the royal wedding the day before Meghan and Harry's ceremony, according to sources. Since the actress and activist was spotted at London's Heathrow airport ahead of the ceremony and has links to the queen, it was thought she would be invited. Unfortunately, she did not succeed.

Ellie Goulding

Trending:

Ellie Goulding had the distinction of singing “Your Song” at and 's wedding reception in 2011. Since the show was so well received, many speculated that the singer, whose celebrity has only risen since then, could be in line for an encore.
