Prince William and Harry’s Cousin Lady Amelia Spencer Gets Married in South Africa

Lady Amelia Spencer, a glamorous model and niece of the late , has tied the knot with her long-term boyfriend Greg Mallett in a mountaintop wedding near Cape Town in South Africa.

The couple had been dating for 14 years before finally saying their vows.

Lady Amelia is the daughter of Diana's younger brother Charles Spencer and his former wife Victoria Lockwood.

She has a twin sister, Lady Elisa Spencer, an older sister, Lady Kitty Spencer, and a younger brother, Louis Spencer, who has the title Viscount Orthorp.

The wedding was attended by several family members, including Lady Amelia's twin sister, Lady Elisa, older sister, Lady Kitty, and a younger half-brother Samuel Aitken.

However, it was not believed that her father, Earl Spencer, was in attendance.

Trending:

and Harry were not mentioned as attending the nuptials either, with the court circular showing William holding a meeting in his role as president of the Earthshot Prize on the same day.

Interestingly, Lady Amelia did attend William's wedding to Catherine at Westminster Abbey with her sisters in 2011, although she was curiously missing when Harry tied the knot to in 2018.

This raises questions about why the younger Spencers seem to be getting the cold shoulder from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

It's clear from the documentary that both Harry and Meghan regard the Spencer family quite highly, and much more so than they did the Queen.

They quickly leaked that Diana's sisters had been Harry's family at the christening.

It's just Diana Spencer they're obsessed with.

They're clearly not above using her sisters to give the impression to the Windsors that they have UK family support, so why the cold shoulder with the younger Spencers?

Could it be that Meghan is so hell-bent on isolating him from his family that even the Spencer family aren't allowed near him?

Harry and Meghan seated the Spencers out in the cheap seats for their wedding.

They couldn't even see the ceremony.

They sat, strangers, in the family seats.

They can't be that close.

William and Catherine gave the Spencers front row seats.

William greeted his uncle and kissed his aunts before the ceremony.

It's clear just who thinks the Spencers are important.

Tom Bauer brings up the Spencer aspect in his book Revenge.

If three people knew best, it was her siblings, sisters Jane and Sarah and brother Charles.

The Spencer siblings were gobsmacked at Meghan's self-serving nature.

Despite their best intentions, they were thrown aside as if they'd been placed in the naughty corner.

They were being hateful towards Harry's soulmate.

Bauer even mentions that the story about William going to Earl Spencer and begging him to do something is accurate.

If Harry wasn't going to listen to their paternal family, he'd listen to the maternal side.

Bauer mentions in his book that Meghan knew which buttons to push when it came to Harry.

She demanded that he put out a statement and compare her to Diana.

Moreover, when a future husband introduced her to the Spencer clan, he talked about how similar she was to his mother.

None of the Spencers could see it.

In other words, they saw through Meghan very quickly.

However, they wanted to support him, so they attended the wedding.

It can be assumed that they were all thinking the same thing.

The marriage isn't going to survive.

The longer this facade goes on, the worse it will be, and the Spencer family were well aware of this.
