Kate’s Birthday Celebrations Overshadowed by Prince Harry’s Memoir
Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, is set to celebrate her 41st birthday on Monday, January 9th.
However, many royal fans are expressing their outrage as her special day is set to be overshadowed by Prince Harry's memoir, Spare, which is set to hit the shelves the very next day.
This is not the first time an announcement from Prince Harry has overshadowed Kate's birthday.
On the day before Kate's birthday, January 8th, two explosive interviews with the Duke of Sussex will be released to promote his upcoming memoir.
The first sit-down talk will air on ITV1 with journalist Tom Bradby, who previously interviewed Harry and Meghan during their tour of South Africa.
The second promotional talk with host Anderson Cooper for 60 Minutes on US broadcaster CBS will also be shown on the Sunday ahead of the release of Harry's book two days later on January 10th.

The Sussexes interpreted the timing of Kate's birthday celebrations as a plot to exact revenge on her.
Harry was supposed to have Kate's birthday celebrations sabotaged his promotional plans for spare.
However, ITV1 said they will probably broadcast Kate's birthday celebration on their channel instead of broadcasting Harry's interview because this is Kate's first birthday as Princess of Wales.
In the trailer for the ITV1 special Harry the Interview, the Prince told Bradby that he wants his father and brother back, following the breakdown of his relationship with Prince William and King Charles.
He then says it never needed to be this way, the leaking and the planting.
“I want a family, not an institution,” he continued.
“They feel that it's somehow better to keep us as villains.
They've shown no willingness to reconcile.
I would like my father back, I would like to have my brother back.”
A number of royal fans have taken to social media to express their thoughts on the timing of the interviews and book release, with many pointing out that this is not the first time an announcement from Harry has overshadowed Kate's birthday.
However, despite this, it hasn't stopped the senior royal from making the most of her Christmas break, as she's spotted smiling and laughing throughout her royal appearances.
Kate Middleton usually spends her birthday privately, but last year Kensington Palace shared three very special portraits to mark Kate's birthday.
A well-informed source has revealed that the palace is planning something big to mark the much-adored royal's 41st birthday.
Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis' mother is planning big to celebrate her birthday amid Prince Harry's memoir spare, which could mainly target William and Kate.
Spare is expected to share more insight into its strained relationship with his brother Prince William and father King Charles.
With tensions already reaching boiling point, Kate's birthday seems the most likely casualty to suffer from the upcoming book release, with the princess' day being understandably overshadowed by uncertainty of the memoir.
However, the tension has not stopped the royal family from enjoying their holiday season.
During the festive period, the family of five even found time to make a trip to Lapland, UK so that Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis could visit Santa.
As reported by a paper, Prince William is also said to have treated his wife to a high-speed test drive as he emulated British icon James Bond and took her on a whirlwind date in a brand new top-of-the-range Aston Martin DBX 707, the world's fastest SUV.
Despite the ongoing tension between Prince Harry and his family, it remains to be seen if they will be able to reconcile after the release of his memoir.
