Queen’s New Fab Four Attend COP26 Climate Change Summit Without Meghan and Harry

The United Nations Climate Change Conference, also known as COP26, has kicked off in Glasgow this week.

Over 120 world leaders and delegates have gathered for a co-operative effort tackling the issue of climate change.

Among those in attendance are members of the Royal Family, including , his wife , Duchess of Cornwall, and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, which many have deemed the new Fab Four, a phrase originally used to describe , , Kate, and Meghan.

While the Queen, 95, was advised to stay home by doctors after a recent hospital visit, a video message from her was played to delegates on Monday evening.

In the message, she heaped praise on both William and Charles for their environmentalism, a cause which Prince Philip was passionate about.

The absence of Meghan and Harry at the event has been noted, with many praising the Queen's decision to send other members of the firm to the globally significant event.

Trending:

At Royally Blunt, a fan page for the Royals, one user wrote, “The Queen has positioned Charles and William firmly on the global stage and in the minds of powerful world leaders.

Linking them to Prince Philip was a fantastic move.

The Royal Family have achieved what the Sussexes wanted.

Number six is now totally irrelevant.

It is finished.”

Alex Phillips, presenter on GB News, also echoed the absence, saying “William and Kate smashing it at the moment.

She's never looked more stunning.

And at ease.

What's a pity is the thought of what could have been done had the Duke and Duchess of Montecito cherished the institution they were in.

What power they would have wielded as the fab four.”

However, some readers have expressed sympathy for Harry's situation.

One reader named Luella Seven commented, “However happy Harry likes to tell everyone he is, I can't imagine anyone truly happy that has no wider family to chat to and is isolated with just his wife, kids, and work colleagues.

I don't believe this is what Harry really wanted but has fallen for a controlling woman who wants him to have no one else so he needs her more than ever.

It is probably very lonely in that Montecito mansion.”

Besides, the Queen is unlikely to receive a visit from next month, according to analysts.

The Duke of Sussex, who lives in California with wife , was said to be in panic mode upon hearing of his grandmother's worrying visit to hospital.

But Harry's scrapped plans to meet disabled military veterans at an Invictus Games training weekend.

It means Her Majesty, who's been forced by doctors to rest for another two weeks, will miss out on his company too.

Royal author Margaret Holder told the Express, “It's rather surprising that he is no longer planning to visit the Queen in view of the fact that her health has deteriorated recently.”

And she added, “It's disappointing that he isn't coming in person to visit the veterans who were clearly looking forward to the visit very much.”

Sources say that the Prince passed on his apologies to the veterans and has vowed to see them in action at the Invictus Games next year.

The news of Harry's cancelled plans comes just a week after the Queen was forced to cancel a trip to Northern Ireland.

Many have commended the Queen's new Fab Four for their deeds on the global stage, but the absence of Meghan and Harry at this year's COP26 climate change summit has been noted.

While some have praised the Queen's decision to send other members of the firm to the event, others have expressed sympathy for Harry's situation.
