Prince William and Kate Middleton to Relocate to Secret Castle on Queen’s Windsor Estate

The Royal Family is known for its impressive property portfolio, which includes famous homes like Buckingham Palace, Kensington Palace, and Windsor Castle.

However, one home that has gone unnoticed by many is Fort Belvedere, also known as The Fort, located on the Queen's Windsor Estate.

The Gothic Revival-style property features a tennis court and a swimming pool and has not been lived in by a member of the Royal Family since 1976.

According to several royal sources, and are planning to relocate with their three children from their current residence at Anmer Hall to The Fort.

An insider revealed to the Mail on Sunday that Anmer Hall made sense while William was a helicopter pilot in East Anglia, but it doesn't work anymore.

The couple had been eyeing up properties in Windsor, and The Fort seems like the ideal situation as it is close to the capital and offers more privacy than their current residence.

Royal source Katie Nicholl told OK!

that William and Kate have never been London people and have never enjoyed the chaos of the city.

While their home at Kensington Palace is highly secure, they have often felt overlooked and lacked privacy.

As their children get older, this has become more apparent.

They love being at Anmer, but they need a base that is close to the capital so they can easily return for public engagements and events.

In other news, and 's presence at St Paul's Cathedral for the Queen's Jubilee next month will reportedly make and very stressed, according to royal expert Angela Levin.

Levin commented on the Sussexes' UK return in a recent chat with the Daily Mail and pointed out that their encounter with the Cambridges at the 2020 Commonwealth service had been particularly frosty.

Levin said, “I think the St Paul's service is going to be very stressful for the royals, especially for William and Catherine, who feel Harry and Meghan have badly let down the royal family.

It will be just as frosty as the Commonwealth service in 2020.

The brothers will look serious, and I suspect Meghan's Hollywood smile will be fixed.”

Both and Prince William were pictured with frowns at the Commonwealth service in 2020, just days before Harry and Meghan announced their decision to step down as working royals.

Despite the tension between the two couples, William and Kate's move to The Fort is sure to be a positive change for them and their family.

The palatial home offers more privacy and a peaceful retreat from the chaos of city life.

It will also provide a convenient base for their public engagements and events.

The Fort has a rich history, having been famously inhabited by the Queen's uncle, Prince Edward, who lived there with Wallace Simpson in the 1930s.

Since then, it has been leased out to a Canadian billionaire.

However, it could soon welcome some new residents in the form of the Cambridge family.

It's interesting to note that The Fort is located just a stone's throw away from Windsor Castle, where the Queen resides.

Despite its proximity, the Queen has never taken up residence at The Fort, making it a hidden gem in her property portfolio.
