Chelsea Handler Mocks Prince Harry’s Frostbitten p-nis at Critics’ Choice Awards
Comedian Chelsea Handler took a jab at Prince Harry during her hosting gig at the Critics' Choice Awards on Sunday evening.
The 47-year-old referenced a surprising segment from the Duke of Sussex's book, Spare, where he revealed that his p-nis was frost-nipped during a trip to the North Pole.
Upon returning home, Prince Harry wrote, “I'd been horrified to discover that my nether regions were frost-nipped as well, and while the ears and cheeks were already healing, the todger wasn't.
It was becoming more of an issue by the day.”
After hearing about this strange revelation, Chelsea Handler took to the stage at the awards show to poke fun at him.
“Before we get started, I just want everyone to know that we're here to have fun and keep the vibes high,” she told audiences.
Trending:
“I know that I have a reputation that precedes me, but you should all know that I've visited two years of therapy, so everyone's safe now.”
She added, “Dharma became the third highest viewed show on Netflix with a combined watch time of 1 billion hours, which apparently is the same amount of time we're going to have to listen to Prince Harry talk about his frost-bitten genitals.
It's enough already.”
The Harkles, as they are commonly referred to, are being mocked in the same community, Hollywood, that never wanted Meghan Markle in the first place.
Meghan must be furious as her dream of being Hollywood royalty is never going to come true.
For all the hype and coverage, it's worth remembering they've barely made anything in their mega deals.
One book, one TV series, and one podcast – all three of those were basically about themselves and their complaints or getting back at haters.
That's not a business or entertainment strategy, and just because there are a lot of eyes on these things and big numbers attached doesn't mean that everything else they do will be successful.
Their days in the industry are numbered.
They're a toxic brand and one that seems determined to focus inward rather than outward.
According to PR expert and CEO of 10 Yetis, Andy Barr, Harry and Meghan have caused a distance between themselves and their Hollywood A-lister pals.
Barr thinks that their celeb pals may have turned their backs on them as they've grown cautious due to the couple's previous actions.
“The pennies just dropped for the Hollywood elite.
If Harry and Meghan would do this to their own actual family, what would they potentially reveal about their friends?
This realization means you can see the distance between the pair and Hollywood royalty now beginning to grow,” he said.
Barr also noted that the public drama surrounding Harry and Meghan, namely Harry's book Spare, the Netflix series, and his recent interview, may be cause for concern amongst some of their celebrity friends.
“They were welcomed into American high society and influenced with open arms.
But it very much appears that, like any over-egged commercial campaign, people are suffering from Harry and Meghan fatigue and starting to move away,” he added.
Ironically, it looks like Harry's recent solo interviews have resonated better here in the UK and are being seen as a form of closure or therapy by the public.
