Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Reputation in Montecito: A Mixed Bag

Residents of Montecito have expressed mixed feelings about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex settling down in their community.

According to Katie, a retired university lecturer, some people think that the couple has a bit of an attitude and are not universally revered.

She admitted that she traveled up to the roads on which the Sussex family lives, and locals in the area are curious about their famous royal neighbors.

“People want to see what they’re doing.

They don’t have bad motives,” she said.

However, not everyone is interested in the Sussexes.

Judy, who was walking alongside Katie, dismissed the royal couple as public figures and said that she was not particularly interested in them.

“There are people I know who are interested and curious about what they’re doing, but I don’t have any particular need to find out more about them,” she added.

Dave Kanerek, a sports sales representative in Santa Barbara town, said that he has not really heard much about Harry and Meghan going about their lives in the local area.

He added that the Duke and Duchess keep themselves to themselves, which is why they live in Montecito.

“It’s a pretty mellow town, and residents treat the celebrities who live here just like anyone else,” he said.

However, reports suggest that Harry and Meghan could be looking to relocate from Montecito, which boasts celebrities such as Gwyneth Paltrow, Orlando Bloom, and Ariana Grande.

Sources connected to the homeowners association at Hope Ranch said that there are a number of folks in that community who are fretting over Harry and Meghan coming there because of all the baggage that comes with them.

Although nobody in Hope Ranch holds ill will towards the Sussexes personally, many feel that they’re going to bring a circus to their quiet, super-private suburb since they’re so famous and controversial.

Our sources say that they can present very real-world problems.

One of the issues worrying some Hope Ranch residents has to do with traffic as a result of Harry and Meghan’s presence.

Traffic has always been an issue in Santa Barbara, where residents have tried to protect their community from an influx of cars for decades.

The roads there are narrow and winding, and with would-be paparazzi flocking to snap the royals, some residents fear it could create peril, especially for kids who are playing and walking to school.

According to royal biographer Tina Brown, “It’s not very pleasant to be a D-list celebrity who doesn’t have enough money.

It’s a wholly different game to be with those super-rich people in Montecito.

Their $14 million mansion is a humble cottage compared to what the other people have.

They’re now in this buy-in Brown says where they’ve taken all this money, and Harry has made this book deal where he’s supposed to spill everything about his horrible life as a royal, but now he’s actually tortured about it because he understands there’s no way back if he does.

If the book continues, I don’t think there is any way for Harry to return.

So my view has always been that the book won’t see the light of day.”

In conclusion, the Sussexes’ reputation in Montecito and Hope Ranch appears to be a mixed bag.

While some residents are curious about their famous neighbors, others are concerned about the potential problems their presence could create.
