Prince Charles spent £1 Million a year on Meghan Markle’s CLOTHES

 

Being dressed as a royal outing costs a lot. 's latest wardrobe has cost about £1 million since she became engaged to , according to one royal expert.

 

The cost of Markle's dresses from her first one-on-one encounter with the Queen to her wedding gown was estimated by Entertainment Tonight, proving that designer duds add up quickly. Her wedding gowns are by far the most costly on the list, with her Givenchy wedding gown costing over £320,000 and her Stella McCartney reception gown costing around £117,000.

 

The remainder of her bespoke wardrobe, by contrast, tends to be a bargain – a word that is arbitrary when it comes to designer products. The Givenchy cape dress she wore on her first solo appointment with the Queen cost £13,000, the pale pink Carolina Herrera dress she wore to Trooping the Colour cost £3,000, an Oscar de la Renta dress she wore to 's cousin's wedding cost nearly £5,500, and the sheer Goat dress she wore to ' birthday party cost just over £450. WHO IS PAYING?

 

So, who's footing the bill for this Givenchy-heavy wardrobe? The bill is being paid by her new father-in-law, , who uses the money from his £20 million annual salary, according to journalist and royal analyst Kate Nicholl. Being a royal needs a full-time engagement. Markle, like her current sister-in-law , is likely to have a personal assistant who makes recommendations to designers for samples to select from. The price of whatever she chooses is then paid in full.

The cost of a new piece of fashion debuted by royal women across Europe was estimated by royal fashion experts Unidentified Fashion Object (UFO) No More, who published the breakdown.

 

“The Duchess of Sussex has taken over the top spot in her first year as a royal,” according to the website.

 

Despite only getting 256 items out of 324 listed, the Duchess invested the most, with the website stating that the true expense of her wardrobe is “likely higher.”
