“It seems to be increasingly likely and what a fascinating prospect it would be,” Eden said.

Victoria Murphy, a royal commentator, added to the conversation, “It would be absolutely extraordinary if it did happen and totally unprecedented.”

“I would never say never but I don't think this is something that is on the cards in the near future.”

“Anyone I've spoken does seem to suggest that's the case. ,” she added.

“Everything that they do, their identities are shaped by the royal family and I do not see how that could ever not be the case. If she was to become President their legacy would be completely different,” she added.

Meghan may pursue a political career, according to royal analyst and US citizen Richard Fitzwilliams.

Former US President Donald Trump told Fox News that he hopes contests for president because it will make him feel “even stronger” toward running.

‘I'm not a fan of hers,' he added, which comes as no surprise given that he labeled her a “nasty woman” in 2019 after learning she had publicly criticized him.

On Instagram in November, Harry and Meghan urged people to vote in the US election. They didn't support any one party since royals are expected to be partisan, but Harry did claim, ‘it's vital that we reject hate speech, misinformation, and online negativity.'  As a consequence, we can all infer who they preferred.

The palace released a statement at the time, explaining that Harry's remarks were made “in a personal capacity” and reminding the media that he and Meghan were no longer serving members of the royal family.
