Only Prince Andrew showed Harry Sympathy at funeral
According to reports, Prince Harry's family gave him a cold welcome at the funeral yesterday, with some relatives blanking him as the backlash from his Oprah Winfrey interview continues.
On Saturday, more than 13 million viewers tuned in to watch Prince Philip's funeral. In compliance with new Covid-19 guidance in the UK, 30 mourners were in attendance, which saw Prince Harry return from Los Angeles after stepping down from his royal duties last year.
Several relatives are said to have turned their backs on Prince Harry at the Duke of Edinburgh's funeral yesterday because of his infamous Oprah Winfrey interview.
According to accounts, his uncle, Prince Andrew, who is also a “outsider,” was the only royal who showed him sympathy.
It was Harry's first face-to-face meeting with his family since the couple's shocking Oprah Winfrey interview last month, and it was revealed that the Prince was greeted coldly by his family at his grandfather's funeral, with some family members reportedly “completely blanking him.”
Princess Anne, Prince Edward, and his companion Sophie, the Countess of Wessex, did not recognize him before or after the service at Windsor Castle, according to the Mail on Sunday.

According to the publication, only Prince Andrew, who stood down from royal duties after a devastating interview with the BBC in 2019, sympathized with him.
They explained: “He knows from Sarah Ferguson – and now first-hand – how it feels to be the outsider, which Harry very much is.
“As far as the others are concerned, there is a deep sense of protection towards the Queen and resentment towards Harry.
“There is little sympathy for him after what he and Meghan said on Oprah.”
In the explosive interview, Harry and Meghan leveled a number of charges against the royal family.
When Meghan faced a mental health crisis, she said she received no help, and Harry said royals like his father and brother were “trapped” in their roles.
The couple also said that an unidentified royal inquired about their son Archie's skin color, implying that if he was dark-skinned, they would have an issue.
This comes after it was revealed that the Queen broke from royal protocol by forbidding the wearing of uniforms at the funeral.
When it was revealed that Prince Harry and Andrew would not be allowed to wear their uniforms as a result of their decisions to step back from royal duties, Her Majesty is said to have insisted on all senior royals attending the service wearing civilian clothes, rather than formal suits.
Because of the departure from tradition, Harry and Andrew will not be the only members of their immediate family who will not be wearing a military uniform.
