PHOTOS: Prince Harry DID ride bikes with his father, Prince Charles as a kid – Interview claims disproved
During their conversation with Oprah Winfrey, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made some surprising claims, but another one of them has been debunked.
When questioned by Oprah what he loves most about his life in the United States, Prince Harry said that getting open room for walks with his family was important to him, and that one of his highlights was riding a bicycle with Archie in his baby seat.
He also said that when he was younger, he wasn't able to go for bike rides. These childhood photographs, on the other hand, depict Harry cycling with his dad, Prince Charles, and older brother, Prince William.

“I guess the highlight for me is sticking him on the back of a bicycle in his little baby seat and taking him on bike rides which is something I was never able to do when I was young. I can sit him on the back and he's got his arms out and he's like ‘whoah'.”
Twitics dug up pictures from 1990 of a young Harry sitting on the back of a bicycle being ridden by his father Prince Charles in the grounds of the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, which he says never happened.
In 1988, a four-year-old Harry was seen riding in the back of a semi trailer as Charles cycled through the Balmoral estate in a tartan kilt on a bicycle. Summer vacation for the royals is normally spent at the Queen's Scottish estate.
On a family vacation to Tresco on the Isles of Scilly in 1989, Prince Charles and Princess Diana rented bicycles.
In 1990, Charles was photographed cycling around the Sandringham estate with his youngest son Harry sitting in a seat behind him, with William riding his own red bike. Critics were enraged:
“Is anything in Meghan and Harry's Oprah interview true?”
“When you tell a lie, Harry, make sure there are no photos to prove otherwise.”
“Harry said he wanted to ride a bike with his son as he wasn't allowed to do when he was young yet there are myriad of photographs of him very happily riding bicycles when young.”
