Prince Harry shamed for military uniform tantrums – As Queen forced to end tradition

At the Duke of Edinburgh's funeral on Saturday, no members of the Royal Family will be dressed in military uniform.

The step, which is said to have been authorised by the Queen, is a departure from custom and stands in stark contrast to the funeral's strong military presence.

It ensures that , , , and will all attend the service dressed in regular suits.

Initially, Harry had to cope with being one of the only members of his family who did not wear combat garb. He lost his honorary titles after he left royal duties in February, despite serving in the Army in Afghanistan.

Courtiers have been worried behind the scenes that , who was forced to relinquish his honorary military titles after acrimoniously quitting royal duties and moving to the United States, would be the only senior royal not in uniform.

Harry, 36, is said to have wanted to rock the same Blues and Royals dress suit as on his wedding day in May 2018.

However, as a retired captain of the Household Cavalry, he is only allowed to wear a suit and any medals he has been received during his duties or by the Queen.

The Prince of Wales, Duke of Cambridge, Earl of Wessex, and Princess Royal, on the other hand, would have been dressed in complete military regalia for a royal formal burial, as is customary.

According to reports, the Duke of York also desired to don an Admiral's outfit.

The decision for all royals to wear suits, according to a military source, was “the most eloquent solution to the problem.”

Angela Levin, a royal author, accused Harry and of “tantrums” and “shameful behavior.” Her remarks follow the Queen's decision that senior royals attending the Duke of Edinburgh's funeral will not wear military uniform in order to avoid Harry becoming the odd man out.

Andrew was supposed to be elevated to Admiral in 2020 to commemorate his 60th birthday, but he stood down from royal duties after his awful Jeffrey Epstein interview, so that didn't happen.

Ms Levin wrote on Twitter: “Due to Princes Andrew and Harry throwing tantrums none of the Royal Family will be wearing military uniforms on Sat.

“You'd think the Queen and Duke's exemplary behaviour wd have passed down.

“Their behaviour is shameful. The funeral is not about them. Actions have consequences .”

“Hasn't our Queen at 94, got much much more to cope with than deciding on what male family members should wear for her adored husband's funeral?” Ms Levin said in a second message.

Following Megxit, Harry's honorary military titles were revoked.

The decision is a departure from the standard for ceremonial royal funerals.

Prior to the funeral, Harry is said to have talked to William, Charles, Eugenie, and Beatrice in an effort to ‘park any disputes.'
