Duchess of Cambridge Honoured by Queen Elizabeth Ahead of Christmas Carol Concert

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, is set to host the Royal Carols Together at Christmas, a poignant carol concert that reflects on the challenges of the past year and gives thanks for small acts of kindness.

The concert was taped earlier in December and will be broadcasted on ITV on Christmas Eve at 7.30pm for British viewers.

In anticipation of this much-anticipated festive appearance, Catherine has been honoured by her grandmother-in-law, , and the Royal Family with a heartfelt honour.

The concert pays tribute to the incredible work of all those who have supported their communities throughout the pandemic.

Catherine invited many people from charities and communities she visited throughout 2021 to take part in the concert.

Last week, a teaser trailer was released with and Catherine's festive glance, leaving some fans baffled.

Her Majesty herself invited the public to see Catherine celebrate the holidays with a special show.

Taking to the Royal Family's official Twitter and Instagram pages, the monarch has given fans a reminder about the upcoming date of the carol concert.

The poignant caption declared, “Don't forget the hashtag together at Christmas carol concert will be broadcast on at ITV 7.30pm Christmas Eve.

This glowing endorsement from the Queen, Prince of Wales, and Duchess is a wonderful reflection of their support for Catherine, as well as for this important concert and her commitment to it.

However, the Queen has cancelled Christmas at Sandringham, where the Royal Family traditionally come together and exchange gifts on Christmas Eve.

This will be the second time has broken the Royal Family tradition due to the virus.

A palace source revealed that the monarch reportedly came to this decision personally based on a precautionary approach amid the widespread of the Omicron Covid variant.

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams believed Her Majesty did not make the choice lightly.

He explained it would surely be a deep sad time for Queen Elizabeth knowing it would be her first Christmas without Prince Philip, her strength and stay.

Despite that, she already made a choice in a not unexpected announcement, putting her own duty above all else and leading by example.

If , Catherine and other royals do end up making the festive season here, it's even possible that they could end up watching together at Christmas as a family when it airs on Christmas Eve.
