Former Butler of Princess Diana Battling Cancer, Wants to Reveal Secrets to Princes William and Harry

Paul Burrell, former butler to , has revealed his fears that he may never get the chance to tell and Harry what he knows about their mother.

The 62-year-old disclosed that he has prostate cancer, but his illness has focused his attention on telling the boys things before it's too late.

Mr. Burrell believes that the late princess would have wanted him to do so.

As he prepares for surgery, Mr. Burrell wants to reveal some of the things Diana confided in him, which he's never spoken about before.

He believes that what he has to say could bring the brothers back together, which Diana would have desperately wanted.

Mr. Burrell was Diana's butler for 10 years before her sudden death in 1997, often referring to her as his rock.

He stated that he wants to tell the two princes what he knows, even though he thought some of it isn't pretty.

He said, “I will only tell them the truth.

That is all.

I'm not looking for anything in return.”

Speaking on the rift between the brothers, Mr. Burrell wants to see William put his arm around his brother but admitted there are too many obstacles in the way.

He believes that the path that should have been the same path from then on, after walking behind their mother's coffin, should have glued them together forever but didn't.

In his memoir, appeared to widen the rift with his family in a series of allegations, but the Duke defended himself, saying that nothing he has done has been to harm or hurt his family.

Harry also denied any intention of causing harm, stating that he loves his father, brother, and family.

Mr. Burrell's illness has focused his attention on telling the boys things before it's too late, telling them what they really should know.

He believes that Diana would have wanted him to make this a priority.

The former royal servant is worried that he may never get the opportunity to tell Prince William and Harry what he knows about their mother.

He said, “I think Diana would say to me, Paul, you must make this a priority.

You must go see the boys.”
