Prince Harry Refuses to Attend Diana’s Memorial Party, Further Straining Relationship with Brother
Prince Harry's decision to skip the memorial party for his mother, Diana, Princess of Wales, is expected to widen the rift between him and his brother, Prince William.
According to a royal expert, the Duke of Sussex has declared that he will never set foot in the United Kingdom again after a confrontation with his older brother.
Woman's Day's Lately edition reported that Prince William and Prince Harry had a conversation about the unveiling of Princess Diana's statue.
Initially, the Duke of Sussex wanted to attend the event, but Prince William expressed concerns about him potentially recording the event secretly and using it for his upcoming Netflix production.
This reportedly angered Prince Harry, who declared that he would not attend the unveiling and would never return to the UK again.
Prince William feels justified in asking his younger brother about his intentions, as he doesn't want to risk further reputational damage to the family.

The Duke of Cambridge has always known about Prince Harry's temper, but he felt his reaction was unreasonable.
He also worries about Prince Harry's future if he completely shuts the door on his British family.
The insider added that Prince William harbors fears for Prince Harry, especially if Meghan's motives for marrying into the family are not genuine.
Meghan has made a business out of trading off the Mountbatten Windsors, and she's already frustrated that the family is stonewalling things like allowing her to christen her daughter at Windsor Castle.
Duncan Larcombe, the author of “Prince Harry, the Inside Story,” expressed his sadness that Prince Harry did not attend the memorial party.
He believes that both of Diana's sons should have been there.
If their mother's legacy can't bring them together, then what can?
Despite the rancor, Duncan describes Prince Harry's absence from the memorial party as an opportunity missed.
The Duke of Cambridge cannot easily hop on a plane to see his brother, as they live thousands of miles apart.
The royal family is in a “wait and see what's in Harry's book” attitude at the moment.
However, Diana's memorial party was another missed opportunity for the two brothers to reconcile.
It's easy to forget how personal the attack on Oprah was against Kate.
Prince William is understandably very protective of his wife, and let's not forget that Meghan directly accused Kate of making her cry instead of the other way around.
She then accused Kate of briefing journalists against her, or at least not clarifying the truth of the story, when it's a strong allegation to make publicly between two members of the royal family.
The only other royal who has done that is Diana when she was publicly attacking her husband.
Despite all this, Duncan believes that Prince William will do the decent thing and refer to Prince Harry when he thanks donors at the party.
It'll be interesting to see if Prince William makes any reference to Prince Harry, and it's expected that he will have thanked people for being there on behalf of him and his brother.
We'll have to wait until we know what Prince William has said before we can draw conclusions about whether the rift has deepened.
In conclusion, Prince Harry's decision not to attend the memorial party for his mother, Princess Diana, has further strained his relationship with his brother, Prince William.
The Duke of Sussex's anger over his older brother's concerns about his intentions has caused him to declare that he will never return to the UK again.
The royal family is in a “wait and see what's in Harry's book” attitude at the moment, but the missed opportunity for the two brothers to reconcile at Diana's memorial party is a cause for concern.
