Prince Harry’s Claims of Losing Virginity Behind a Pub Disputed by Actor Rupert Everett

Actor Rupert Everett has cast doubts on Prince Harry's claims of losing his virginity in a field behind a pub.

Speaking to the Telegraph magazine on the day of the Duke's much-anticipated memoir Spares published date, the actor suggested that the Duke had purposefully tried to cover his tracks to protect the identity of the woman who was really involved in the tryst.

Everett added, “‘I'm just putting it out there, that I know.'”

In the book, the Duke of Sussex claimed that he lost his virginity in a field behind a pub to an older woman who treated him like a young stallion.

The open-air tryst occurred when he was a student at Eton in 2001.

However, according to Everett, the woman involved was not behind a pub, and it wasn't even in the UK.

Everett's comments come as several women have sought to distance themselves from the encounter.

Liz Hurley, Susanna Harvey, and Catherine O'Mahony have all denied being the woman in question.

Harvey admitted to passionately kissing the prince in a muddy field after a Christmas ball in 2001 when she was 23, but she posted a picture of herself with a packet of ginger nuts on Instagram, writing, “‘The only ones I've ever touched.

Believe zero of what you read.'”

O'Mahony, who dated Harry when she was 34 and he was 21, told The Sun that she hated horses and was definitely not the girl in the field.

Meanwhile, a former fellow soldier claimed that Harry fell over in a sentry box while drunk, triggering a panic alarm.

The Duke of Sussex is said to have tripped and fallen into the alarm button after finding himself in a sentry booth at St James's Palace, London.

Aged 27 at the time, Harry was eventually carried back to his apartment by two nearby police officers, and his behavior was later discussed at Wellington Barracks, close to St James's.

The soldier, who suffered injuries from an IED on his second tour of Afghanistan, claimed that the young prince was blind drunk and uncooperative when they tried to get him up.

He also said that he had a reputation for being a social hand grenade in officer circles.

Everett revealed that the memoir had altered his perception of the Duke.

He said, “‘It's made me change my view.

I was angry before, and now I just feel very sad, sad for Harry.

I felt so sympathetic towards him for years, and I still do now.”

He added that the Taliban incident changed everything and lost him the one group that still loved him.

Prince Harry's book has been making headlines since its release, with many praising his honesty and vulnerability.
