Prince William and Prince Harry Share Unexpected Chat Ahead of Queen’s Funeral
Prince Harry and Prince William shared an unexpected conversation on Thursday, Harry's 38th birthday, ahead of their grandmother's funeral on Monday.
Despite the ongoing speculation surrounding their tumultuous relationship and the hopes for a reconciliation, the brothers managed to share a few poignant moments together.
According to a friend of the two brothers, the conversation happened completely by chance as both were driving in opposite directions.
William had just collected his three children from school when he drove past Harry.
In an unexpected turn of events, he soon reversed and stopped to speak to his brother.
The brothers wound down their windows and chatted for a while, showing signs of the rift between them beginning to heal.

However, sources close to William told the paper that mending his relationship with his younger brother isn't necessarily at the top of the agenda right now.
He is solely focused on doing what is right to honour the Queen.
Rather than focusing on their fractured relationship, both brothers agreed that the focus should be on the Queen, whose funeral is due to be held on Monday.
On that day, the brothers will once again stand together, united in grief as they march in the funeral procession behind the Queen's coffin as it travels from Westminster Hall, where it has been lying in state, to Westminster Abbey as part of the state funeral.
Earlier this week, both brothers had performed a similar duty as the coffin was transported from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Hall, with the pair also standing with the Queen's six other grandchildren in a poignant and historic vigil on Saturday evening.
Both brothers also took several moments out of their days to examine the floral tributes that had been left in honour of their grandmother in the days since her passing.
However, another friend of Harry's admitted that it wasn't easy to reconcile when the entire world was watching.
They said that the world wants them to reconcile, but it is very hard to make any personal decisions as every interaction is scrutinised by the public whenever they are in the same place at the same time.
Meanwhile, Meghan is rumoured to be dissatisfied after finding out about the two brothers' private discussions.
Harry and Meghan reportedly fought bitterly in the car as a result.
An explosive argument between Princes William and Harry led to William initiating the split of their households and the ultimate break-up of the so-called Fab Four, a new book claims.
Historian and royal expert Robert Lacey, author of the new book Battle of Brothers, claims it was William, not Harry, who initiated the split.
Citing Palace insiders, Lacey writes the two brothers had an explosive argument about the way Meghan was reportedly treating Palace staff.
Harry reportedly hung up the phone on his older brother, leading William to address him in person.
After the argument, William reportedly instructed a royal aide to start the process of dividing their two households immediately.
William wished to be separated from Meghan on a day-to-day basis, and that meant being separated from his brother as well, Lacey writes, also quoting a friend as saying that William threw Harry out of Kensington Palace.
In conclusion, while the world watches and waits for a possible reconciliation between the two brothers, it seems that the focus remains on honouring the Queen and processing their grief.
The unexpected chat on Thursday may have been a small step towards healing their relationship, but only time will tell.
