Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, has arrived in Dubai for his latest royal visit.
The Prince shared a rare personal message on Twitter as he touched down in the United Arab Emirates on Wednesday.
William is traveling to Dubai to join events showcasing talent from across the UK at the Dubai Expo 2020.
The royal tweeted a snap from the plane as he arrived in Dubai, saying he was “excited to be arriving in Dubai to celebrate the UK at a Dubai Expo and discuss the vital issue of working together with the UAE and international partners to achieve a more sustainable world with a turf shot prize and United for Wildlife.”

He is making the trip at the request of the Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office.
William traveled on a commercial flight and will visit Expo 2020 Dubai, which is being temporarily taken over by UK National Day.
During the event, British talent will be featured, and the Commonwealth Games 2022 Baton Relay will also be showcased.
The Queen launched the relay from Buckingham Palace last October, and it will parade through the Expo site visiting Commonwealth National Pavilions.
The Duke will learn more about initiatives protecting areas of flora and fauna in the region.
He will also have the opportunity to highlight his environmental award, the Earth Shot Prize, and his United for Wildlife initiative, which tackles the illegal wildlife trade.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle have faced criticism from US talk show host Tucker Carlson, who branded them as grifters.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were also slammed as pathetic and irrelevant by a retired judge, while a former presidential aide told Harry that nobody cares what he thinks in America.
These criticisms come amid speculation that the couple may have made an about-face on their $25 million Spotify deal after they hit out at COVID misinformation being spread by fellow podcaster Joe Rogan.
As rumors continue to circulate about their future with Spotify, Fox News talk show host Tucker Carlson called Prince Harry brain dead and blasted the couple as “grifters” who have a “$25 million deal with Spotify for essentially no work.”
Prince William's tweet prompted a delighted response from other Twitter users.
One user wrote, “Have a very good flight.
We can't wait to follow all the coverage about this important trip.”
Another user commented, “Looking forward to this such an exciting trip.
And what a great photo.”
A third person said, “Let's hope this trip goes well for the UK.
Flying the flag for Great Britain in this very important Jubilee year.”
Kensington Palace said when William's visit was first announced that “the bond between the UK and the UAE is deep and strong, and Prince William's visit will highlight and build upon these links as he has the opportunity to engage with young Emiratis, leaders from government and committed conservationists.”
In conclusion, Prince William's visit to Dubai is an important one, as it highlights the strong relationship between the UK and the UAE.
