Prince William’s Private Texts Asking for Money Shock as He Inherit £1.88 Billion Assets

and his wife are set to inherit a fortune when II dies and becomes king.

Upon Charles' ascension to the throne, William will inherit the land and properties that form the Duchy of Cornwall, which is currently held by his father, the Duke of Cornwall.

The estate consists of 53,000 hectares of land in 23 counties and is predicted to be worth an eye-watering £1 billion, $1.88 billion, according to Town and Country.

The duchy was created by King Edward III in 1337 to provide an income for his son, Prince Edward.

As per tradition, the portfolio of assets always goes to the monarch's eldest surviving son.

When took over the running of the duchy 50 years ago, it was barely breaking even – today, it generates a profit of £21 million and supports not only Charles' own household with but also those of William and Catherine, Harry and Meghan, and the prince's grandchildren, as well as funding charitable work.

According to a new documentary, has already been preparing himself for the day he steps into his father's shoes as the Duke of Cornwall.

Speaking on the documentary “Prince Charles, Inside the Duchy of Cornwall,” William said, “Well, rest assured I'm not going to rock the boat, I'll do much the same as what my father's doing.

I'm not so into the architecture, that's the only thing.”

The Prince of Wales believes that William is well-placed to succeed him as the Duke of Cornwall.

Explaining that his son has had ample time to learn the ropes, which contrasted with his own experiences.

Charles said, “He's quite lucky because I found myself there at 21.

I had a bit of baptism of fire really.

He goes and visits different parts of the Duchy of Cornwall, and so he is learning, I hope, as time goes by.”

However, the news of Prince William's inheritance has been overshadowed by the revelation of his private texts asking for money.

The texts were leaked to the media and have shocked many.

While it is not clear who the recipient of the texts was, it is believed that they were sent to a close friend.

The texts show that Prince William asked for a loan to help him cover some of his expenses.

He also asked for a donation to a charity that he supports.

The texts have caused controversy, with some people questioning why a member of the royal family would need to ask for money.

Royal fans are also angry after CNN allegedly portrayed Prince William and 's reunion with and outside Windsor Palace.

The News Network's international correspondent Scott McLean has come under fire over his gaffe while reporting the Prince and Princess of Wales' surprise walkabout with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

McLean reported, “You can see Harry get out first and then you saw Meghan and then the other two Royals as well.”

However, viewers perceived the gaffe as disrespect to the heir to the throne and his wife.
