Queen Elizabeth Considers Revoking Prince Harry’s Titles

Prince Harry's royal status may be in jeopardy as Queen Elizabeth reportedly considers revoking all of his and Meghan Markle's royal titles.

According to a recent report by Life and Style, the Queen wants to make Harry pay for his slights against the royal family and is not afraid to take it further.

An insider revealed that the Queen was enraged when she learned that Harry and Meghan were signing mega deals without putting in the work for them.

She was furious that they were using the monarchy like a cash cow and was ready to cut them off at the source.

If they didn't have any royal titles, they wouldn't be able to cash in on them.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped down from their royal duties in March 2020 and moved to the US.

However, they still wanted to do some work on behalf of the crown while also being private citizens.

Royal commentator Kristen Mines suggested that they essentially wanted to be half in and half out with the royal family as far as their royal duties were concerned.

However, the Queen was not in favor of this move.

According to TV personality Lizzie Cundey, the Queen had to put her foot down and say that if Harry and Meghan wanted to step down from their royal duties, they couldn't use their royal titles.

They would also have to pay back the taxpayers' money for Frogmore Cottage, where they often resided in Windsor, and they wouldn't receive money for their security.

In their interview with Oprah Winfrey that was broadcast in March, Harry noted that he had worried about the safety of his family when their security funding was cut off.

At the time of their departure from the UK, the couple had also just had a significant renovation completed on Frogmore Cottage, reportedly worth over two million pounds, which they paid back.

Despite the controversy surrounding Harry and Meghan's departure from the royal family, royal expert Ingrid Seward doesn't believe that removing their titles would make much of a difference.

She believes that it would look very petty and is not something the Queen would want to do at this stage of her reign.

It would be far more insulting just to ignore them.

In conclusion, while there have been reports that Queen Elizabeth is considering revoking Prince Harry's titles, it remains to be seen whether or not she will actually go through with it.

Regardless, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have already made their departure from the royal family and are forging their own path.
