Queen Elizabeth II Furious Over False Death Rumours of Prince Philip

Rumours of the death of Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, started circulating online and trending on Twitter on Friday.

The false news spread like wildfire throughout the day, causing Buckingham Palace’s switchboard to be inundated with calls from concerned members of the public.

The Queen was reportedly furious when she found out about the false rumours.

She only discovered the news when her staff began to ask how Prince Philip was doing.

According to a source, the Queen called her 97-year-old husband for a tense and stressful 10-minute conversation in which they spoke about how to deal with fake news.

The source said that the Queen was absolutely fuming over the situation and thought it was disgraceful.

It’s not nice to hear people commenting on your health or death, even if you’re used to being in the public eye.

The couple agreed that there was little they could do, but they were both very, very annoyed.

The situation was made even tougher for the head of state as she is currently on holiday at Craigowan Lodge in Balmoral, while Prince Philip is at Sandringham House.

The Queen enjoys her summer months at the private residence and is frequently joined by other members of the royal family.

The source added that if Prince Philip was ill, the Queen would be with him instead of starting her Scottish holiday.

However, the Duke of Edinburgh is not very ill.

In fact, he is in fine form and is recovering well from his recent hip operation.

The operation has given him a new lease of life, and he hopes to live to 100, just like the Queen Mum.

The Queen and Prince Philip married on November 20, 1947, at Westminster Abbey, to a reception of 2,000 guests.

The ceremony was broadcasted to approximately 200 million radio listeners worldwide.

The Queen’s first encounter with Prince Philip was when they were children at a wedding in 1934.
