Queen Elizabeth II’s Health Concerns Continue to Grow as She Misses Easter Service

II's ailing health has been a cause of concern for several months now, with the monarch regularly cancelling engagements due to her health.

On Thursday, Buckingham Palace announced that Her Majesty would not attend the traditional Easter Sunday service at St George's Chapel in Windsor this Sunday, April 17, as she continues to struggle with her health.

The 95-year-old monarch, who recently suffered from a mild strain of Covid-19, is now using a walking stick, admitting to mobility problems and usually carrying out only light duties at Windsor.

She even confessed in a recent virtual meeting that the coronavirus had left her feeling very tired and exhausted.

Sunrise's Royal Editor, Robert Jobson, spoke about the concerns that are mounting regarding the monarch's health.

He stated that the Palace would have to do something about the way they keep announcing these things.

Mr. Jobson suggested that there should be a way where they say will be taking on the Queen's role unless stated otherwise.

The Royal Editor continued, “Every time they announce that she can't make something, a lot of people around the world worry that there is something more serious than there is.”

Meanwhile, Royal Biographer Robert Hardman had previously reassured that the Queen's issues are not medical but down to her mobility.

Speaking to Palace Confidential on Mail Plus, Mr. Hardman said, “She's realistic, she's stoical.

I'm definitely picking this is not a medical condition we need to worry about.

This is down to two issues which are mobility and dignity.”

The Queen recently held an online interview in which she seemed to be very well and in high spirits.

However, the surprise visit that and paid to her on Wednesday has added to concerns over the Queen's health.

It has been a long-awaited trip as the couple's relationship with the family became increasingly strained.

According to reports, visited his grandmother, the Queen, with his wife Meghan before going to the Netherlands for the Invictus Games.

A spokesperson for the couple confirmed that the couple had met the Queen.

British media reported that the meeting took place in Windsor Castle, about 40km from London.

It is believed that Meghan and Harry, who stepped down as senior roles in 2020, spent the night at their former home, Frogmore Cottage, after they met the Queen and before heading to the Netherlands for the Invictus Games.

Commenting on the couple's secret visit, Mr. Jobson stated, “I think a lot of the people were surprised.

A lot of people didn't even know they were in the country.

It's a surprise but it is good news.

They are a family, after all.

At least there is dialogue going on, which is a good thing.”

Some have interpreted the visit as a sign of the Queen's declining health.

But Mr. Jobson quashed these rumours.

He said, “I think it's more to do with the fact he's going to Holland for the Invictus Games and the pair of them are going to be there and be given the BVIP treatment.

What's important is they're building bridges and I don't think it is to do with the Queen missing Easter service.”

The Queen's absence from the Easter Sunday service has raised concerns about her health, but the Palace has stated that it is not a medical condition.
