The Royal Family Prepares for First Easter without Queen Elizabeth II

The Royal Family is gearing up to celebrate their first Easter without II.

Despite the somber occasion, they are expected to put on a united front during the bank holiday weekend.

The Royals will gather for Easter lunch, and 's wife, Catherine, Princess of Wales, is reportedly set to step up to her new role.

As King Charles III is expected to relax a strict table rule, according to a royal expert, the Princess of Wales' new role in the Royal Family has been widely talked about.

She is expected to have a more prominent role during Easter lunch, an opportunity for Catherine to show her support for the new King and demonstrate her leadership skills.

It is also expected that she will use her platform to promote causes she cares about, including mental health, education, and the arts.

Royal expert Ingrid Stewart predicts a big reunion over the bank holiday weekend, as the Royals face their first Easter without the late Queen and the second anniversary of Prince Philip's death on the Sunday.

It will be an opportunity for everyone to gather together before the King's coronation, she predicts, with the exception of , Meghan, and the two children who reside in the States.

On Good Friday, the Royals typically observe tradition by having a fish feast.

On Sundays, they attend church at St George's Chapel before returning home for a four-course roast.

Yet, according to Ms. Stewart, the King may ease one regulation that the late Queen imposed.

She stated to The Sun, “they will all have dinner together, but not the young children.

They will eat in the nursery dining room.

The Queen always said until they could hold a knife and fork properly, they could not eat at the table.

But Charles might have relaxed that rule a bit.”

The expert also believes that Catherine will play a part in organizing some of the children's activities.

She said, “Catherine is a great organizer and will almost certainly organize an Easter egg hunt.

They can also go to the Royal Mews and see the horses there, and there is an indoor pool for swimming and ponies for them to ride.”

The late Queen used to invite her loved ones to the palace for the long weekend.

They would spend time together and eat a lot of delicious cuisine.

Darren McGrady, a former Royal chef, has already revealed some of the techniques he used when preparing Easter dinner for the late Queen and her family.

On the Easter weekend, meals are a huge affair at the castle, and they eat a lot of delectable cuisine.

They enjoy a traditional fish dinner every Friday night, which is always a delight.

The family sits down to a four-course roast supper on Sundays, after church.

“We'd go straight into the main course, a traditional roast lamb with seasonal vegetables,” Darren told OK!

Magazine.

He added, “they always had a compound salad served in a kidney dish attached to the plate, just some lettuce and cucumber with a little mint or some grated carrot and coriander.

The Queen especially enjoyed the freshly made Windsor cheese, made especially at the Windsor Dairy, which the Royal family also enjoys with lunch rather than dinner.”

The Easter gathering this year will take place less than a month before the King's coronation on May 6th.

During the customary ceremony at Westminster Abbey, will also be anointed as Queen Consort.

Almost the entire Royal family, including the Prince and Princess of Wales, , , and , will be there.
