Piers Morgan's petition to be revived on Good Morning Britain currently has 360,000 supporters.

Five independent petitions have been signed calling for the celebrity to return to the ITV breakfast news programme.

Morgan resigned after tens of thousands of people complained over his remarks about Meghan Markle.

According to The Mirror, the most famous petition, “Keep Piers Morgan on GMB for this common sense approach to life,” is on target to meet its target of 200,000 signatures.

Morgan has ruled out a return to the show and is now involved in a bidding war for a new job.

Either of two upcoming UK-wide channels scheduled to launch could pick him up.
