Prince Harry will regret “hugely destructive” interview like Princess Diana.

As the bombshell interview between and approaches, speculation is circulating that the Duke of Sussex, like his mother , will come to regret his decision.

According to royal author Penny Junor, Harry's destiny would be similar to that of his late mother, , who, according to royal expert Jennie Bond, regretted her historic 1995 Panorama interview in which she used phases and said she wanted to be the Queen of people's hearts, which she later regretted.

The Queen later proposed that the Prince and Princess of Wales divorce as a result of the Panorama interview.

“My prediction is that, likeDiana all those years ago, Harry and Meghan will be overjoyed at their own interview with Oprah, which airs tonight in America and tomorrow in the UK,” Penny wrote in The Daily Mail.

“Although maybe not as happy as Oprah, who has snagged the scoop of a lifetime.” But, like Diana, I believe Harry will come to regret his decision one day.”

She went on to say that the interview “looks like a gross betrayal.”

Trending:

“As a former soldier who put responsibility and allegiance to the Queen and nation above all things, this seems to be a heinous betrayal.”

“This is a betrayal that would play right into the hands of those who want to dismantle the monarchy.”

Penny went on to say that while Meghan has no deep links to the royal family, the bombshell meeting would be “hugely devastating” for Harry because of his friendship with the royals.

“It's also very harmful to Harry.” For him, the monarchy is not a quaint, antiquated institution, like it is for millions of Americans waiting for tonight's declarations.

“The Monarchy is Harry's family.” Meghan may have little love or respect for her family, but Harry did at one time.

“He was a much-loved mother, grandson, brother, and brother-in-law throughout his life.”
