But Harry will not miss the funeral of the Duke of Edinburgh for the world.

According to a UK royal source, “Harry was very close to his grandfather.” “Of course, he'll be there, no matter how strained ties are between the Sussexes and the family.”

Harry's anticipated return to his homeland comes after he and Markle separated from the royal family in January 2020 — and just weeks after their explosive interview with , which shook Buckingham Palace.

Experts have recently begun to speculate about the prospect of returning to the United Kingdom for Prince Philip's funeral.

One of the most pressing issues for analysts is 's actual pregnancy status, as well as the release of her controversial Oprah podcast, which coincides with Prince Philip's last hospital visit.

Given the media uproar, many observers believe Meghan would be “booed off the streets” if she again sets foot on British soil.

A royal observer also revealed a chat Prince Harry had with his family in March, prior to Prince Philip's hospitalization, and confessed he was “advised to fly home right now to say goodbye to his grandfather,” but “who knows if he will listen.”

“There are lots of discussions about what to do with the problem of Meghan (Markle) and Harry” and officials are wondering “where to seat them and how to protect them from the British public who may boo them.”
