Prince Harry Criticised for Rude Behaviour Towards Queen After Missing Prince Philip’s Memorial Service

has faced criticism for his behaviour towards the Queen after he failed to attend Prince Philip's memorial service last month.

A royal expert has questioned the excuses behind his absence, and a former BBC royal correspondent has said that this week's brief visit further challenges Harry's explanation for not attending the service.

Harry's surprise absence from the service of Thanksgiving for the Duke of Edinburgh had caused heavy criticism.

Royal commentator Jenny Bond expressed her disappointment on BBC Breakfast, stating that it was a matter of great heartache to the Queen that she still has not met , and Charles as well.

She also criticised Harry for not attending the service, saying, “I do think it was extremely rude, and there is no other word for it.”

Bond continued, “I cannot understand why he wasn't there.

He claims it was perhaps because of his security worries but yesterday we saw them being whisked through the streets of Windsor in a blacked-out car.

I mean, security, that can't be a true worry.”

and arrived at the Invictus Games flanked by five bodyguards, including a former protector of Barack Obama.

The couple continues to challenge the government's refusal to pay for their security.

The Sussexes are being protected at the Games by a security team including Christopher Sanchez, who spent five years as part of the US Secret Service.

Sanchez spent two and a half years each with Barack Obama and George W. Bush.

During the Invictus Games at The Hague, Harry spoke of his drive to make the world a better place for his children.

He said that people shouldn't bring children into the world unless they're willing to improve it for them.

Speaking with the Netherlands Kinder Correspondent reporters, Harry said he wanted his two young children, and , known as Lily, to grow up in a fairer world, a safer world, a more equal world.

“It's not going to be easy, but I will never, ever, ever rest until I have as a parent at least tried to make the world a better place for them because it is our responsibility that the world is the way it is now,” Harry said.

“I don't think that we should be bringing children into the world unless we're going to make that commitment to make it better for them.

We cannot steal your future.”

Meanwhile, revealed how she is missing her two young children while attending the Invictus Games alongside Harry.

Meghan made the confession as she sat in of a reading to a group of 12 children in a private event held in the Yoda Park on the second day of the event.

She told British Army veteran James Stride that she had wanted to attend the reading as it meant she was around children, and they reminded her of her own back home in California.

“Meghan was quite chatty and told me she was missing her children,” said James, one of the GB competitors in the Games being held in The Hague.

“She said she wanted to be with children as she was missing her own.”
