Prince William Slams BBC Over Princess Diana’s Panorama Interview
Prince William has publicly criticized the BBC for the way it handled the interview with his mother, Princess Diana, in 1995.
The Prince's comments came after an investigation found that journalist Martin Bashir had used deceitful tactics to secure the interview.
In a video clip shared widely on social media, Prince William expressed his anger and disappointment at the broadcaster, saying that the interview had let down not only his mother and family but also the public.
Piers Morgan, the outspoken former Britain's Got Talent judge, has also weighed in on the scandal.
In a series of tweets, he shared the footage of Prince William's response and commented on the investigation into the program.
He called William's attack on the BBC “absolutely blistering” and said that his “simmering rage is palpable, and fully justified.”

Morgan had previously criticized the BBC over the scandal, saying that it had taken them 25 years to tell the truth about Bashir's deceitful tactics.
He went on to say that the interview had propelled Diana on a path to her death and that the broadcaster had “blood on their hands.”
However, not all of his 7.5 million followers agreed with his take on events, with one person saying that history was being rewritten.
Morgan then took aim at the BBC, saying that he looked forward to seeing the broadcaster “ripping its own staff to pieces” over the scandal.
He called it a “shameful scandal” and asked who would be going to jail over the deception.
Both of the Royal Princes, William and Harry, have condemned the findings of the Panorama inquiry.
While Harry has been speaking extensively about his mental health struggles following the death of his mother, and how he felt that his family did not support him, Piers has been less sympathetic to Harry.
He called him a coward and said that it was time for him to “man up” and “shut up.”
