Queen Elizabeth Opens World Highland Games Centre at Bremer Royal Highland Gathering
Queen Elizabeth had a busy weekend attending the Bremer Royal Highland Gathering with her children, Prince Charles and Princess Anne, at the Princess Royal and Duke of Fife Memorial Park.
The event has been held since 1832, and this year marks a special occasion as the Queen conducted the grand opening of the World Highland Games Centre.
The new venue is a celebration of the Bremer Gathering and provides a place for the display of memorabilia, trophies, and important archives related to the historic event.
It will also be named after Prince Charles' Scottish title, where he is known as the Duke of Rothesay.
Photographed sitting between her two children, Queen Elizabeth looked to be in extremely good spirits at the event.
Prince Charles even donned a traditional kilt.

She was presented with a bouquet of flowers upon her arrival and appeared elated with the welcome she received.
Members of the Royal Family regularly attend the Bremer Gathering, and the Queen first attended the event as a seven-year-old child in 1933, making it more than a little impressive that she is still attending 85 years later.
The Highland Games traditionally included events such as the Toggo War and the Caber Toss, alongside Highland dance competitions, bagpiping, and track and field events.
Throughout the summer, the Queen has been on vacation in Balmoral, only a short distance from Bremer.
Prince Philip joined her Majesty at the event in Scotland last year, but since announcing his retirement from public life in 2017, the Queen has been forced to fly solo.
The Duke of Edinburgh, 97, surprised her Majesty at her Scottish hideaway Balmoral, not far from Bremer, last month, having been expected to stay at his Sandringham country estate.
Local sources said the Prince arrived fit as a fiddle and spent a few days fishing and hunting as he and the Queen kick back and relax.
