Prince William and Kate Middleton May Move Into Royal Lodge in Windsor

Reports have emerged that and his wife Catherine may be moving into the Royal Lodge in Windsor, which is currently occupied by and Sarah Ferguson.

This follows the news that and have been served an eviction notice for their UK residence, Frogmore Cottage.

It has been suggested that the King has offered the Royal Lodge to the Waleses.

However, 63-year-old is reportedly reluctant to move from the property where he has lived for the past 20 years.

This has led to speculation that the Prince and Princess of Wales could move from their current residence, Adelaide Cottage, to the Royal Lodge.

Royal expert Rebecca English has suggested that the move to the Royal Lodge will be a solution to the first world problem faced by the Waleses.

They reportedly feel that their current home is not as large or grand as those of their children's playmates.

The Royal Lodge boasts 7 bedrooms and 30 rooms, compared to Adelaide Cottage's 4 bedrooms.

Last year, it was reported that William and Catherine had considered the Royal Lodge as a possible residence, but were unable to move in as Prince Andrew would not vacate the property.

It remains to be seen whether he will be persuaded to move to the 5 bedroom Frogmore Cottage instead.

During his visit, he attended their St David's Day parade and spoke of his fond memories with the Welsh Guards Sniper Platoon on Salisbury Plain, stating that it was a time he looks back on fondly.

His father, King Charles III, was unable to attend the event but expressed his admiration and pride for the soldiers.

As the merry-go-round of mansions continues, it remains to be seen where the various members of the Royal Family will end up.
