Harry, Meghan could name daughter after Princess Diana
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are just a few months away from welcoming their second child, and royal enthusiasts are already speculating about what the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will call their baby daughter.
Many people have figured that if Harry has a daughter, he might honor his mother.
Betting firms in the United Kingdom expect the pair will name their daughter after Harry's mother, Princess Diana, according to the Huffington Post: Coral offers five-to-one odds, Betfair and Paddy Power four-to-one odds, and Betway and William Hill three-to-one odds.
“Diana is the clear favorite in our market now, ever since Harry and Meghan confirmed that they could be having a baby girl,” Harry Aitkenhead, a Coral spokesperson, previously told Metro. “We are convinced it will feature somewhere in the name, going five-to-one that it is the new arrival's first name.”
Hello! noticed several bookmakers, like Coral, Betfair, and OddsMonkey, have Alice, Abigail, and Allegra listed as some of the most probable girl names. Harry and Meghan are rumored to want their second child's name to begin with a “A” like Archie's.
But it's ‘highly unlikely' Meghan and Harry will name their daughter Diana
According to a source, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are unlikely to grant their unborn daughter the name Diana because they think it would make her a publicity focus.

They might propose Diana as a middle name, but Princess Charlotte of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton's 5-year-old daughter and fourth in line to the British throne, already has it. Her full name is Charlotte Elizabeth Diana.
“Whatever anybody thinks, Harry and Meghan do value their privacy and want to shield their children from the intense media pressure they have endured.”
They even worry that the name would put too much attention on the infant and make things harder for her, including enrolling her in school and traveling. They also want her to forge her own path in life, according to the source.
What Charles wanted to name William and Harry
Prince Charles and Princess Diana received their first son, Prince William, less than a year after their wedding, and their second son, Prince Harry, two years later. However, the princes were on the verge of having two completely different names before Diana turned against her husband's preferred choices.
Diana disclosed, according to Andrew Morton's book Diana: Her True Story, that she chose her sons' first names after shooting down the ones Charles had.
“He wanted Albert and Arthur, and I said no. Too old !” Diana shared. She said that the Prince of Wales did have some say though explaining, “I chose William and Harry, but Charles did the rest.”
William Arthur Philip Louis is Prince William's birth name, while Henry Charles Albert David is Prince Harry's.
