Royal Family News
Prince Harry’s popularity has taken a hit in the UK following his revealing interview with Oprah Winfrey.
The Duke of Sussex has now suffered another setback, as Heather Wong, his Assistant Private Secretary since 2016, has decided to leave the Royal Household.
Ms Wong was a trusted aide to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle during their time living at Kensington Palace.
She accompanied the couple on their royal engagements, often carrying Meghan's handbag and accepting gifts on her behalf.
Despite Meghan and Harry's decision to step down as senior members of the Royal Family last year, Ms Wong was one of the few aides who remained.
In April 2020, she was appointed Executive Director of Travelist, a sustainable tourism initiative launched by Prince Harry.
However, less than a year later, she has decided to move on.

According to a filing at the UK Registry Company's house, Ms Wong's company appointment was terminated on February 28.
It is unclear why she chose to leave, but her LinkedIn profile reveals that she has already secured a new job.
Ms Wong is now the Chief of Staff at Atomico, a private equity firm.
Before joining the Royal Household, Ms Wong worked for Barack Obama's administration.
She held positions as Acting Assistant Secretary and Deputy Assistant Secretary of Public Affairs at the US Department of Homeland Security during Obama's first term as President.
The loss of Ms Wong is likely to be a blow to Prince Harry, whose popularity ratings have suffered since the Oprah interview.
The Duke of Sussex made several damning comments about the Royal Family during the interview, which sparked a backlash in the UK.
Despite the criticism, Prince Harry has stood by his comments.
