Meghan called Prince Harry everyday to calm him during ‘very difficult’ trip to UK
Meghan was aware of how traumatic the journey would be for Harry, who has now returned to the United States, according to reports. Harry was worried about leaving Meghan alone with Archie while she was pregnant with their second child. Harry did not want to abandon his family when he returned to the UK for the first time since the shocking interview with Oprah Winfrey.
During Harry's absence, a source said, “Meghan and Harry have been in touch every day. She knows the trip to England has been difficult for Harry. He didn't want to leave Meghan and Archie alone. Meghan has insisted to him every day though that they are fine. She hasn't wanted him to worry.”
Similar details about Harry and Meghan's correspondence when he was abroad were revealed by Us Weekly. “He's already really missing Meghan and Archie and has been FaceTiming them every day to check in. He actually speaks to Meghan a few times a day because he worries [about] leaving her when she's so far along in her pregnancy .”
Prior to Harry's return to the UK, it was unclear if the Duke had spoken with his father about Oprah's tell-all interview.
As they stepped away from St George's Chapel in Windsor after the ceremony on Saturday, Harry was seen briefly speaking with Prince William.
Meghan and the couple's almost two-year-old son Archie spoke with with the Queen before his grandfather's funeral, according to a People source: “Meghan spoke with Harry before his grandfather's funeral. Earlier this week, Meghan and Archie spoke with the Queen.”

It's uncertain if Harry and senior members of the Royal Family have patched up their differences within the Firm.
According to The Daily Telegraph, Prince Charles was still enraged after Harry and Meghan made a string of startling accusations in an interview.
“It goes against everything the Prince of Wales believes in,” they said.
“He believes diversity is the strength of our society
“The Duke of Sussex continues to say he respects his grandmother, but he has ridden roughshod over the institution she represents.”
According to Harper's Bazaar, British tabloid claims that Harry made significant progress with his brother Prince William and father Prince Charles while in the UK are false. Harry's visit was the first time he had returned to the UK since his and Meghan's explosive Oprah interview in March, in which they discussed that the royal family's treatment forced them to permanently step down from their senior positions.
According to a source close to Harry, the trip was based on honoring Philip rather than brokering peace. The source said, “This trip was to honor his grandfather's life and support his grandmother and relatives. It was very much a family-focused period of time. Saturday broke the ice for future conversations but outstanding issues have not been addressed at any great length. The family simply put their issues to one side to focus on what mattered .”
Despite their tense relationship with the Firm, Meghan and Harry were close to Philip.
In honor of the Duke of Edinburgh, Harry and Meghan choose a specially made wreath to honor Philip.
Willow Crossley, who also planned Harry and Meghan's floral arrangement, made the wreath, which featured the Acanthus mollis, a Greek flower in honor of Philip's heritage.
Sea holly was used to represent the Royal Marines, campanula was used to represent loyalty and eternal love, rosemary was used to symbolize nostalgia, lavender was used to symbolize loyalty, and roses were used to honor Philip's birth month of June.
As Philip was laid to rest in the cemetery, a handwritten note was set on the wreath in his honor.
