Prince William and Stepsister Laura Lopes’ Frequent Fights During Charles and Camilla’s Marriage

The British royal family has been through a lot in recent years, with and 's departure and the scandal surrounding 's friendship with Geoffrey Epstein.

These events have been particularly difficult for the Queen, who has also been dealing with mobility problems.

However, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been a constant presence throughout this period.

Despite being viewed as a laid-back figure within the royal framework, a biographer's account reveals that was not always so relaxed.

In her 2010 book, Harry and William, royal author Katie Nicholl stated that the Duke had frequent disagreements with his stepsister, Laura Lopes (then known as Laura Parker Bowles), around the time when her mother and his father Charles got married in 2005.

According to a source close to the royal family, William would hold responsible for all the pain she caused his mother, which would make Laura extremely angry.

She went on to say that Laura would grab an extension every time Charles called Camilla at their Wiltshire home and yell down the speaker, “Why don't you stop phoning my mummy and leave our family alone?”

She even told William that she blamed him for the end of her parents' marriage.

It has been reported by several sources that William and Camilla's relationship did not get off to a good start.

Royal biographer Penny Junor emphasises this in her book, Born to Be King, stating that the connection between them all was not as friendly as it is now.

“To be fair to Camilla, she never tried to be mummy, but she was the other woman, and she was there and taking Daddy's time,” Junor wrote.

According to Robert Lacey's book, Battle of Brothers, Camilla was taken aback by William's fury in the early days of their relationship.

He stated that Harry has openly admitted to his own burning temper from time to time, and William has proven to be no sweet William when aroused.

Camilla has described to her own family and close friends her surprise at discovering this unexpected side to Prince Charming in the years following her marriage to in 2005, saying things along the lines of, “That boy's got a temper.”

The Mail on Sunday recently reported that gave his blessing for Camilla to be given the title of Queen's Consort.

Despite their past disagreements, William's relationship with Camilla has significantly improved.

According to a source cited by the Daily Mail, “His relationship with the Prince of Wales is better than it has ever been.

He does not have a particularly close relationship with his stepmother.

However, they do get along just fine and have become quite the blended family.”

In her book, Nicholl also revealed that Laura and William used to have terrible fights over who was to blame for their broken homes.

This sheds light on the fact that even members of the royal family are not immune to family drama and conflicts.

It is interesting to note that despite the challenges that the royal family has faced, Prince William remains close to his grandmother, the Queen, and values her advice greatly.

If she feels comfortable with something, then he will feel comfortable with it as well.

Overall, the revelation of Prince William and Laura Lopes' frequent fights during Charles and Camilla's marriage sheds light on the complexities of the royal family.

Despite their status, they too face family drama and conflicts like any other family.

However, it is heartening to see how they have overcome their differences and become a blended family.
